Toronto, Canada

I love to travel and learn about other people's culture and heritage. I have difficulty socializing with people who are unable to handle the reality that the world is made up of people from different races and all walks of life, because I seem not to have this problem. I love to try new foods, go sightseeing, enjoy shows, dance, and talk to the locals when I travel. It is the only way for me to leave a country much wiser than when I arrived. I also have problems with people who travel and somehow don't try to see the positive things about other countries and cultures. They don’t do proper research, (starting with Wikipedia), see a very small area in the place and use that as a reference for their final negative verdict of a country. You cannot stay in a hotel and not mix with the locals at all levels of that society to know their lifestyles and the conditions that they live under and give a correct review of a country. As a result of the latter, some people end up giving terrible reviews because they want every place in the world to be exactly like where they have come from.
