Things to Do in Patong
Patong Beach is the most popular daytime attraction in the area. Hop on a boat out to Coral Island or Phi Phi Island for outstanding snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. If you want a closer look at the local wildlife, head to the Phuket Aquarium and explore an underwater glass tunnel or glimpse endangered sea turtles. The beach end of the street is the most subdued, offering laid back options for a cold beer. Live music bars are most prominent around the middle of the stretch, just west of the beach area. The end near Rat-U-Thit Road is the most packed, with a hectic combination of options and a heavy press of people.
