Great quality accommodation at the right price. Perfect hosts and a wonderfully friendly dog. Close to Spalding, Boston, Lincoln, Kings Lynn and the seaside town of Skegness. Don't miss the Outlet stores at Springfields for that extra bargain. The cottage itself gives the feel of...More

this is a beautiful cosy place to stay. spotlessly clean, and very well decorated. started to relax soon as we stepped in to Bolt Hole cottage it is that sort off place. we definitely will be returning

Just perfect. Amazing holiday retreat with gorgeous gardens and lovely hosts. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will definitely return for more visits.

About the neighbourhood
Whether shopping, visiting or just relaxing, the area caters for most people. Spalding has a market on Tuesdays & Saturdays and there is a very well respected theatre/cinema in the centre. The area itself has been reclaimed from the sea and has been developed since the 1600's it's seafaring history goes back 100's of years. The area is also famous for it's inland mills and lighthouses including Peter Scott's, the painter who is a relation to Scott of the Antarctic. Peter Scott was a founder of the Slimbridge sanctuary & had close links the RSPB. A drive out for the day can take you to the Sandringham Estate or Burliegh House.
