Koh Mak Garden Villa is a gorgeous, two-winged, family villa set in nearly four thousand square meters of beautiful private gardens, bursting with tropical fruits and flowers.

With four bedrooms (excluding the housekeepers' quarters), five bathrooms, a large central living/dining area, and 6 balconies overlooking the garden, the house can comfortably accommodate large groups (up to a maximum of 12)

It is centrally located, approximately equidistant from the island's two main piers, with convenient access to all of Koh Mak's best shops restaurants, resorts and beaches. Two of Koh Mak's best reviewed restaurants (one Thai, one Western food) as well as a well stocked mini-mart are literally a few paces from the end of our garden. The closest swimming beach (and great spot for sunset) is 250m away.

About the neighbourhood
Koh Mak Garden Villa is situated on Southern side of Koh Mak island, roughly equidistant from Koh Mak's two main piers. Opposite the property are the Island Hut Resort with its swimming beach and stunning sunsets over the sea, and the Swiss Sawasdee restaurant. A mini-mart for provisions, as well as several other restaurants, resorts, a cafe and a bar are easy walking distance within a few hundred meters of the house. Koh Mak is a small island and bicycle or motorbike rental allows visitors to access all of Koh Mak's beaches, restaurants, resorts, cafes and bars within minutes.
Getting around
Most people use motorbikes (scooters) or pushbikes from as a very enjoyable and convenient way to get around the island.

Bike rental shops are dotted around the island and, if you want to arrange rental in advance, we may be able to arrange for them to deliver to the house for your use on arrival.

There is very little traffic on the island and it is one of the safest places to ride bikes in Thailand. However, guests are strongly encouraged not to drink under the influence of alcohol, and to drive/ride slowly and safely to avoid becoming another holiday accident statistic.

How to get there
There are regular speedboats services between Koh Mak and Laem Ngop (near Trat) on the mainland.

Visitors can fly from Bangkok from Trat airport in 50 minutes, and then take a taxi or air-conditioned minivan (which can be arrived at a desk at arrivals) to the pier at Laem Ngop.

Alternatively, visitors can take a taxi, bus or minivan from Bangkok. These can be organised at competitive rates from any local travel agent. The drive usually takes from 4 to 5 hours.

Our housekeepers will meet you on arrival in Koh Mak and we can arrange a taxi to take your group to the house.
