Great place to stay, close to the village and beaches. Very quiet and near to a park where you can walk your dog. We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay, as the cottage had all you need for your stay so would definitely return.

About the neighbourhood
Gimingham is about a mile from Mundesley, located some 22 miles north of Norwich, on the north Norfolk coast. It is a traditional family holiday destination, with first class clean beaches with beach huts, and many facilities such as a local museum, crazy themed golf course, three restaurants/pubs, post office, butcher, chemist, greengrocer, bakery, a very good charity shop supporting the local lifeboat, four cafes, a fish and chip shop/burger take-away (excellent), florist, traditional hardware store and hairdressers.

Inland there are many very good dog-walking areas, such as Pigney Woods, a nature reserve (dogs on lead in bird breeding season), Bacton Woods, Weavers Way (along the disused railway line, passing through glorious countryside and lakes), cliff-top walks, overlooking the sea...

Once you get to Mundesley you need to be on Trunch road, which is an extension of the High Street.

You will be going out of the village on Trunch Road.

Go past the Fire Station and the School. These are on your RIGHT.

Follow Trunch road until you come to the point where the houses end. There is a left turn with a T-shaped sign reading “Trunch Tee” and an advertising board for “Bateman's Trunch Crown Inn. IGNORE THIS LEFT TURN.

Continue straight on a little further and you will see a second left turnoff, with a large house just before the junction. This is the owners' home, Kingfisher House.

Continue for another half a mile, and you will come to a crossroads, with a brick and flint sh...
