From a review: "Just 2 hours from the airport in Catania. An easy ride on the motorway. The perfect place for a quiet and peaceful vacation, placed at the end of a row of houses. The last house before the beach. Very suitable for families with children. Its just a short walk in flipflops to take a morning dip in the ocean on your very own 'private' mediterranean beach. If you want to get around its a great base for excursions to Milazzo, Messina, Taormina, the Eolian Islands, Mount Etna, majestic forested mountains with pittoresqe villages, Tindari Monastery, Tindari bay at Marinello, and much much more. Its a semidetached house. The house has a garden facing the beach, and there is a nice view from the balconies. You can see the majecstic and impressive Tindari Monastery and the closest of the Eolian Islands, Volcano. In the back there is a cosy backyard with trees and flowers. A great place to have your meals. There is a brick barbeque and pizza oven and an enclosed shower area so that you dont need to drag all the sand into the house when you get back from the beach. The neighbouring farmer comes by regularly to offer his own produce (vegetables, cheese, sausages, vine and olive oil) out of the back of his car.
