An old dairy and sheep farm dating back before 1850, which has seen many changes. 'Coastal Meadows' has only eight pitches so there is plenty of space. Onsite are two communal areas 'The Cabin' and 'The Barn'. 'The Cabin' has one lovely hot shower, two flushing WCs, three basins, large washing up sink, with adjoining log store and water point. 'The Barn' has two hot showers, two toilets, three basins, a dual sink and wood store. You are also welcome to utilise the play area, The Old Wood Store, laundry facilities and Diddy Little Shop. Whilst hidden away in the secret westerly corner of Carmarthenshire, Clyngwyn Farm overlooks the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. COASTAL MEADOWS is the centre of some of the finest experiences which Wales has to offer. From blue flag beaches to boutique shops, beach horse riding through the waves to forest quad biking on muddy trails, vibrant festivals and colourful carnivals, picturesque galleries and decorative antiques, breath-taking coastal walks and Dylan Thomas talks. There is plenty to do, find and explore. There are also some fantastic local produce and award winning farm shops in the near vicinity. In the 'Old Wood Store', we have details of the local area and 'Whats On' etc. There is also a utility area with washing machines and tumble dryers. 'The Diddy Little Shop' stocks some local produce such as local honey, free range eggs, sausages and bacon. We can also arrange for a 'veggie box' of fresh seasonal vegetables and eggs to be delivered to your pitch during your stay.We do have some spare items, but kindly ask that you bring your own wellies, raincoats and beach towels. You may also wish to bring picnic blankets, bikes and hiking boots to enjoy the wonderful views. Please make us aware if you are bringing any pets. We are aware that many dogs are extensions of your family, but with respect to other guests, dogs are strictly not permitted in the play areas and must be kept on a lead around the cottages and camping areas. We are surrounded by wonderful beaches or woodland walks, and we have a dedicated 5 acre field where dogs are free to run. When planning your stay in advance, you are reminded many attractions and restaurants in the area accept pre-arranged vouchers. For example 'Folly Farm', 'Oakwood' and 'The National Botanic Garden of Wales' all accept Tesco clubcard vouchers. Our Facebook page 'COASTAL MEADOWS' and our website has plenty of photographs of the camping site and the local area. If you have any questions at all, please do ask.

A proper gem
We have been coming camping here for a few years and what an amazing place. The campsite offers so much such as a massive private pitch, your own bathroom , a diddy shop which offers all sorts of things for you buy and borrow during your stay. There is lovely play park for children and a camping area in the forest. The site is dog friendly and there is a huge dog walking meadow with a dog agility course at the bottom . I couldn’t recommend this site enough. The owners are very helpful and friendly and always go above and beyond to make your stay special .

Spacious pitches, thought of everything and excellent friendly customer service. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
We stayed on fern pitch in the last week of August and was amazed by the size of our pitch, especially compared to other campsites we've been to over the years. The enclosed area you get is ideal for children to play without disturbing other campers and the owners (Lee and abi) have thought of everything you could need from a camping site, even down to a popcorn maker to use in your personal fire pit. I particularly like the private shower and toilet facilities which again if you are a family is ideal! Would highly recommend and we want to go back again.

Tranquility
Hello, We stayed on Bluebell pitch and loved every second of it. We both have busy work schedules so the peace and tranquility was greatly received. the whole campsite was well thought out with everything you could ask for was ready and at hand. Amroth beach was just over a mile away, with The New Inn serving food. We would like to thank our dog friendly hosts and will be coming back. Rich and Sara

Absolutely amazing, never want to stay anywhere else!
We have just returned from a week's stay at Coastal Meadows camp site in South Wales - WOW! The reviews say it all and if you are thinking of visiting - get it booked! On arrival, Lee greeted us and showed us around, he was very friendly throughout our stay but also very respectful and keen for all pitches to maintain their privacy. Our dog had an accident during our stay and he brought a first aid kit over to help / guided us RE the nearest vets. There is so much to say about this site so I'll try and bullet point the key parts for ease: Pitches are HUGE and very private. There is loads of space, each has their own hammock, picnic benches x 2 and fire pit as well as a canopy which contains an axe, lock box, water carrier, washing up bowl and bins for use. Showers & toilets - these are allocated solely for your pitch, including hand soap, antibac, hand towel, toilet roll. It was great to be able to leave our toiletries there and not have to trapes backwards and forwards with everything. Shower was super powerful and plenty of hot water. The cabin allowed access to plug sockets for charging mobile phones etc, also undercover washing up facilities Inc WU liquid. 'The old wood store' is for communal use, includes hundreds of items you can borrow including windbreaks, bodyboards, garden games, kids toys, blankets, dog equipment- you name it, they had it all free of charge! The little Diddy honesty shop on site was amazing, very well stocked and reasonably priced, eg 30p per egg, £1 ice creams, 40p crisps 60p choc bars etc etc. Free use of spices, baking paper etc (all the things you either forget or wouldn't bother packing!) Free to use table tennis table and washing machine / tumble drier available for £2.50 per use. Our dog Cooper loved the secure paddock, agility course and the woods, there are some truly super walks. You can even borrow a wheelbarrow to take into the woods to collect your own firewood! We hired a pizza oven which Lee kindly bought over to our pitch £5 per 24hrs. He even offered us a second hammock for our pitch as it was quiet. Excellent park for kids and short walk to the nearest beach. We have nothing negative to say about this place, it truly is a great find and we cannot wait to return in the future. We are only disappointed that the week we wish to return next July is not available, unless we arrive on a Wednesday which simply does not work with our work commitments and is a real shame. However, Lee explained to us that they leave a days gap for the pitch to recover over the busy periods / to avoid a mad changeover and if that's what keeps this place looking so amazing then we totally respect this! 😊😊 Thankyou Coastal Meadows!

Fantastic stay @ Coastal Meadows
This is our absolute favourite campsite. Beautiful private pitches with masses of space alongside everything you need in the 'Diddy Little Shop' (honesty tuck shop for essentials, washing and drying facilities, games to borrow, beach toys to share, books to read etc) Close to sandy beaches that are dog friendly we have returned for the 3 years. The facilities are fabulous, private toilet and shower (which is like at home), great play area for children, lovely woodland to explore for all ages and acres of space in the separate dog run area. We have also been able to stay in one of the holiday cottages which was immaculate and catered for all our needs. Really was brilliant. Lee and Abi have crafted something really spacial here and their dedicated really shows.

Outstanding - I won’t be going anywhere else but here again
We had the best time camping at Coastal Meadows. There’s plenty of space which was a big selling point for us. Fellow campers were super friendly, didn’t feel like we were on ‘top’ of each other. All amenities were well maintained. We loved the Diddy shop. Stunning views, fresh air - what more could you ask for!! We would HIGHLY recommend this place, spread the word - this is one of the best campsites we have been to over the years. Wales is also a beautiful country. Thank you Abi and Lee for being so welcoming, accommodating and checking in to see if everything was ok. Can’t wait to come again next year - this time we’ll stay longer.

Amazing campsite
Spent 3 days at this campsite, the pitches are huge, could easily fit more pitches on site but love the fact that Lee and Abbie have chosen to keep things spacious and private. Everything has been carefully thought out, never been to a better site.

Easily the best campsite we have ever stayed at !!
Wow, how have we missed this site and us only living 5 miles away. An outstanding site situated in some of the most stunning scenery on the Pembrokeshire coast and with so many local beaches and attractions in close proximity its a winner all the way. The owners Lee & Abi have thought of everything. Each pitch has it's own shower / wash room, fire pit, wet weather tent, candles, water carriers and more. As for covid their bio security is excellent with gels and hand wash signs available where needed. Since returning home we have already booked four more visits which just proves how much we love this site. The next visit will be with our grandchildren who will love the woodland basecamp and lower meadows. Our concern is we keep telling our friends how good it is so it might get harder to book. This is definitely some where to chill out and explore, you just cannot beat it. Well done Lee & Abi.

Lovely, spacious and peaceful
We’ve stayed here twice and are booked to come again this year. We love coastal meadows! The pitches are really spacious and have their own undercover picnic bench and fire fit area, also private toilet and shower. Lovely woodland walk and play area on site. The location is perfect for visiting all the local beaches and attractions. The owners are so helpful and even came out in bad weather at silly o’clock to help campers. Highly recommend.

Camping heaven
This is by far our favourite camp site in the UK. Lee and Abi really pull out the stops to make your camping holiday fabulous and easy. We stayed on Buttercup pitch and, like all the other pitches, we had a huge pitch half a meadow wide. Our own camp fire circle, seating, shelter and even our own private shower room and toilet. My children love it here and the play park is brilliant. There are very few pitches so it never feels busy, just a tranquil piece of Welsh loveliness. Surrounded by woodland, we always make dens and play hide and seek in the woods and you are really close to fantastic beaches and Colby Gardens. Can’t wait to come back.
