The layout consists of open plan living with a large kitchen, lounge and dining area. The lounge area has been lovingly designed with bespoke art work and comfy sofas, with an additional easy chair. The Buttery also has a large flat screen LCD TV, with freeview channels, DVD player, DAB radio and free wifi access. A selection of books and local newspapers are to hand to browse whilst you enjoy some quiet time.
The large wet room is perfect to wash the sand from your feet, or take a long shower to revitalise yourself from the day spent exploring the local beaches and villages.
The fully equipped kitchen has a LPG cooker, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The kitchen window has views over the courtyard and beyond.
The main bedroom has a four poster kingsize bed with quality Egyptian cotton bed linen for the luxury you deserve. The bedroom has a side view over the neighbouring field.
The second bedroom has adult sized bunk beds, again with orthopaedic mattresses and Egyptian cotton bedding.
The Buttery and Dairy Cottage are interlinked to increase the living area for large families. Each has a lockable and sound insulated door. The Buttery has been designed to cater for wheelchair accessibility.
A table, chairs and parasol is placed outside The Buttery. Perfect for al' fresco dining. Additional benches are placed around the grounds so you can sit and listen to the birdsong, watch the children play, or simply admire the views over the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

We returned to Coastal Wood this summer staying in the beautiful Buttery cottage.
It is so lovely going on holiday knowing everything you could possibly need has been thought of and little touches above and beyond (like the bathroom bath of essentials) which just goes to show what effort Lee & Abi put into making each stay perfect & welcoming for their guests.
The honesty shop on site was packed as always with extra supplies should we have ever ran low or just wanted a holiday treat!
As with the Granary Barn, the Buttery had extremely comfortable beds & was a perfect fit for my husband and I with our two girls 9 & 8. Comfortable sofas and we know our Lurcher would have been very comfortable if she comes on future holidays with us.
We explored more of the surrounding beaches on this occasion as the weather was interchangeable parking at National Trust Stackpole on one day before strolling to Barafundle and Broadhaven South which were both lovely to explore.
I also recommend Dr Beynors Bug Farm in St David's if you ever want a day trip further afield - we all found it really good and something different!
We still managed plenty of time in the sea nearby at Amroth aswell though as it is only a few minutes down the road, wonderful and sandy with fab rock pools for exploring too. This has been our go to holiday destination for a number of years now, Lee & Abi have created a fantastic base to have a wonderful holiday.

Perfect for families and dogs
We had a fantastic stay at coastal wood- such a lovely site and some fantastic features that make it perfect for pets and kids. We arrived to some lovely treats for humans and dogs alike and great information books in our cottage for exploring the local area with children and dogs. Lovely dog walks from the door and so much on site to keep the children busy. Lovely quiet play park, lots of games equipment to borrow, a toy library , maps of local walks and guidebooks. Lots of dog toys to borrow etc. Lee and abi have done a great job thinking of ways they can help their guests have a stress free and happy holiday. There are chickens you can feed and friendly cats. My children loved it here and we will definitely be back.

Thank you for another amazing holiday
We returned to coastal wood after an amazing visit two years ago. We wouldn’t of thought that any improvements could possibly be made, but Lee and Abi obviously have had some more amazing ideas.
Having a child with a serious learning disability and no awareness of danger. We find coastal wood somewhere safe and peaceful where we can truly relax as a family. An Autism friendly place with with plenty of facilities to cater for our sons sensory diet, whilst also being perfect for his sisters needs and being pet friendly we could bring out dog Molly to enjoy our holiday fully
The cottages are all clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. With everything you need for a great holiday available either inside the cottage or inside of the Old Wood Store.
Lee was as helpful as ever, nothing was too much trouble for him.
We will definitely be making a third visit in the future x

Fantastic cottage getaway for young familes
We would thoroughly recommend staying with Coastal Wood Holidays. The accommodation was clean and tidy and set in a beautiful area, with plenty to do nearby. It was very noticeable that Abby and Lee have put a lot of thought into their cottages and whatever we looked for was there and much much more. Should we return to the area, we wouldn't think twice about booking with them again.

Lovely Cottage
Just home from a lovely stay at The Buttery. It is a very comfortable, well equipped cottage and Lee and Abi have thought of everything. The Diddy Little Shop on site has all the essentials to tide you over. Lovely scenery and some nice walks nearby. Also the beach at nearby Amroth was a nice clean, sandy beach with rockpools to play in. Good food in Amroth too. The Buttery is in a good location for sightseeing and the attractions in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
Would definitely visit again.

What a great stay! This is our 3rd time and keeps getting better and better. Lee and Abi are great hosts and provide such a fantastic holiday venue. Already planning our 4th stay

Outstanding
This was our second visit and we can say it was as enjoyable as our first. Being a Carmarthen expat living in Sweden it's just wonderful to bring my swedish family here to have a taste of Wales.
The swedish and welsh grandkids love it. We all do. Everything is catered for.
A lot of planning and thought from Lee, Abi and boys make this place the award winning holiday paradise it is.
So much to see and do within a short distance should you travel out.
Lee and Abi are always so eager to help, nothing is to much trouble.
There is no way on earth that anyone could not be satisfied after a stay at Coastal Woods.
We were so sad to go back to Sweden, the kids even more.
We look forward to our next visit Lee,Abi & boys. Keep up the excellent work. The awards are so well deserved. Well done.

Brilliant place and perfect hosts
Had a great week at the Buttery and I have to say it was brilliant
And Lee and Abi are the perfect hosts the cater for almost everything and the location is quiet and beautiful to top it off it's dog friendly and the weather was brilliant.

Fantastic family holiday!
We have just returned from a fantasic week staying at Coastal Wood and couldn't recommend it highly enough especially for families with young children like us! It was a great base for exploring all the nearby fantastic beaches, especially as we had the best weather ever! Also lots to do if the weather had been let great and we will return to explore further!
There were some very thoughtful extra touches in the cottage and the owners had even left age-appropriate toys and books for our daughters. The honesty shop was a great idea and one which we utilised, and our 2 year old loved exploring the play area and meadows - we wouldn't have even needed to leave the site!
Thanks Lee (and Abi) - we'll be back!

Amroth 1 mile. Situated down a short lane just off the coastal road between the wonderful sandy beaches of Pendine and Amroth, these four wonderful Amroth holiday cottages are located in peaceful surroundings where you can enjoy open countryside by day and the absolute delight of star gazing at night. These delightful Amroth cottages have been created from old farm buildings and each is furnished, decorated and equipped to a high standard with individual character and charm. Positioned around a large courtyard, each of these Amroth cottages has outdoor seating and shared use of a lawned area as well as opportunity for walks on the farmland. With a variety of accommodation across these four Amroth cottages, up to eighteen people can be accommodated, and with two properties having the added advantage of an optional interconnecting door, there is plenty of flexibility for all party sizes. From the time you step into your cottage, to enjoy the wonderful homemade cakes provided by the owners, to the time you have to leave, you will be thoroughly pleased with your holiday cottage choice. Why not take some time to enjoy countryside or coastal walks right from the doorstep of these Amroth cottages, or maybe take an invigorating pony ride on the beach? There is plenty to do in the local area as these cottages are located close to the lovely seaside village of Amroth with its pubs, restaurants, cafe, shop and of course it's wonderful sandy beach. Our SATNAV location is SA33 4PW. As a guide, we are 0.6 miles from the Marros Horse Riding Centre towards Amroth. Follow the brown tourism signs with a horseshoe ? on to get to the area.

From A477 (St Clears - Tenby Road):
Red Roses is located midway along the A477. At Red Roses take the road opposite the Sporting Chance Inn, sign posted Pendine. Proceed for 2.5 miles to the first cross roads (bus shelter and telephone box). Turn right, signposted Amroth & Marros (brown tourism sign with horseshoe on). At the end of the road turn right at the Greenbridge Inn and proceed for 1.8 miles. Continue along the road past Marros Church and the Riding School. Take the next right hand turn (just past Beefs Park Farm) with a sign saying 'Clyngwyn Farm Cottages' and 'Coastal Wood Holidays'. Follow the right hand track until you arrive at Clyngwyn Farm.
From Pendine:
Take the hill out of Pendine from the Springwell / Gilberts and turn left at the top of the hill. Follow the left hand signpost to Amroth & Saundersfoot (brown tourism sign with horseshoe and Marros). Pass the Greenbridge Inn on your right hand side, and proceed past Marros Church and the Riding School. Continue along the road. We are the next right hand turn (just past Beefs Park Farm) with a sign saying 'Clyngwyn Farm Cottages' and 'Coastal Wood Holidays'. Follow the right hand track until you arrive at Clyngwyn Farm.
From Saundersfoot:
Follow the coast road to Pendine through Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth. Go past the 'Carmarthenshire' sign and proceed up the hill. We are the next left hand turn with a sign saying 'Clyngwyn Farm Cottages' and 'Coastal Wood Holidays'. Follow the right hand track until you arrive at Clyngwyn Farm.
