This villa was amazing and highly recommended if you have a large family or not-Rose the housekeeper is Great and we all enjoyed our stay-The house was very clean and very equipped with alot of things we did not need to bring, different than other villas I've stayed at.

admittedly, we were skeptical. but once we arrived...
admittedly, we were skeptical. but once we arrived, it was obvious this was going to be a wonderful stay. everything was immaculate, indoors and out. the house is obviously spacious, enabling us to entertain a group at dinner. rosmarie, the housekeeper, was wonderful. decor is cozy caribbean, we felt at home. it's a bummer not to be walking distance to the beach, but the pool is sweet and it was super clean. villa gardenia is highly recommended.

Villa Gardenia is a wonderful property with a spectacular view. Having previously rented other homes that we have discovered on line, prior to arrival there is always a bit of apprehension as to whether or not the property listing, in particular the pictures, will meet our expectations. Our stay at Villa Gardenia completely did lived up to what we had hoped for. The property is very clean and is obvious that the owner keeps it well maintained. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, and Rosemarie (the housekeeper) and Theo (the house manager) are delightful. While we have always stayed on the western side of Anguilla, this is the first time we have rented east of The Valley. The eastern side of the island is beautiful, however most of the better restaurants are situated on the western end; with this said we love driving around and given the island is not that large, we would (well we actually will) rent Villa Gardenia again.

My wife and I spent almost two weeks at Villa Gardenia and would definitely recommend it, both to couples and larger groups. We've been traveling the Caribbean quite extensively for some years now, always renting, and this was a great experience from the start: Orietta is a delight to deal with. The villa is located among other private residences but is surrounded by a beautiful garden so it suited our desire for privacy. The pool is terrific, with amazing views over the sea and Saint Martin - we had to make an effort to leave it and explore Anguilla, which proved to be an enchanting little island. The house is very well equipped and spot clean, everything is easy to operate and both Rosemarie and Theo helped us very efficiently when we had doubts. Anything you might need is already there, from the kitchen appliances to the foldable beach chairs and plenty of beach towels. Rosemarie also bought some fruit and drinks/pasta/coffee for us. The house is very breezy so the A/C wasn't necessary most of the nights. You will need a car and Orietta helped us with that, too. We recommend the secluded beaches on the wildest side of the island - just us and the pelicans - but also the east corner of Maundays, best swim of the entire island. The weather in February was perfect, warm and dry, not too hot, with brief showers that soon go away- the island is flat so the clouds never linger. We'll keep Villa Gardenia in out go-to list for winter trips from freezing Europe. Alessandro and Pia, Milan

A group of five friends decided to rent Villa Gard...
A group of five friends decided to rent Villa Gardenia for a weeks getaway. None of us had been to the island in the past, so the only thing we had to go on were the photos. We arrived at Blowing Point ferry terminal and took a cab to the villa. We were kindly created by the house keeper, who showed us the property and all of its features. When you walk in the front door, the first thing you see is a panoramic view of Sandy Hill Bay, Saint-Martin and far off in the distance, St. Barts. Villa Gardenia offers something that I think most rentals don't and that's privacy for each guest. The setup is that each room has it's own bath and sun deck, so you can relax in your own space or meet in the middle to enjoy the pool and view. We rented a car for the week and were able to easily pick up groceries at the local grocery store called Best Buy. If you decide a night out for dinner, I suggest Artisan Pizza (casual) and VEYA (a little fancy). Both were amazing!
Everything in the villa is as described on the site and the property was extremely clean. The staff is easily available by phone. I would recomened this property to anyone looking to totally disconnect and enjoy the beauty of the island. This trip was truly one of a kind! We can't wait to go back!

My wife and I have been in Anguilla quite a few times but this time we extended the invitation to our respective families and so we were in need of a larger house to accommodate 11 of us including 2 children. We ended up selecting Villa Gardenia and rented the whole property. It was the right choice. The location was perfect as we knew already the Feathers Bay area, so no surprised there, but it was perfect in term of unobstructed view of the ocean (and St. Martin) from the large terrace and the pool area. Large pool and great central place in the main villa for us to gather together for dinner. We really enjoyed the pool, the kids in particular. What you see in the pictures and in the description are indeed what you will find. The communication with Orietta was excellent as well as the follow up in place with the manager Theo and the housekeeper Danielle. Both Theo and Danielle were super responsive even during the Carnival festivity in the island. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking at Anguilla for a great vacation in a great place.
