This is a fabulous 3 bedroom apartment overlooking Sao Martinho bay benefiting from 3 balconies and just 75 metres from the beach in an elevated position.

The spacious duplex property is set within the most highly sought after complex in Sao Martinho Do Porto with just a winding driveway down to the beach.

There are 3 bedrooms. One with a king sized bed, one with twin beds and the third with a double sofa bed. Therefore the property sleeps 6 people. Please note that you must pass through the twin bedroom to get to the third bedroom.

There are 3 lovely balconies to enjoy the sunshine and views. You have a fantastic view across Sao Martinho Do Porto bay and the shared pool.

In the summer months there is a lifeguard at the pool side but you can also watch over your children from the balcony and lounge areas.

We stayed a week at this apartment, and the view is excellent, and the apartment is very convenient to the local cafe's, shops and beach. But, we were very disappointed in what the apartment itself presented. The main bedroom has a great view over the beach and also has a balcony. The second bedroom has no window, except a ranchslider which has curtains and that in turn leads to another room, which contains a sofa bed with broken venetian blinds at the window, no curtains - the light from the street outside shines in at night. It is advertised as suitable for 6 people, feel the maximum would be 4 people. We were provided with towels and bed linen, thought they were very old and threadbare, in fact went out and purchased some more towels from the local shop. The kitchen contained old food items and the apartment itself we didn't consider clean, walking on the flooring left the bottom of our feet black, and the bathrooms needed a lot of disenfectant. Flying to Lisbon Airport is recommended as it is an easy drive along the A8 taking an hour to Sao Martinho Do Porto.

Hire a car from the airport if you are intending to use a car for your holiday. We will send you detailed instructions for how to get to Sao Martinho Do Porto when you book. The journey is about an hour to Sao Martinho Do Porto.

The best way of getting to Sao Martinho without a car is to get a taxi to Lisbon's Sete Rios coach terminal (approx 15 Euros). From there you will be able to get a coach direct to Sao Martinho (costing approx 10 Euros each way); there are several trips per day. You can find out coach times and book tickets at www.rede-expressos.pt

Alternatively a taxi one way will cost 85-100 Euros typically and we can arrange this for you.
