With plenty of natural light, warm colours and a welcoming atmosphere, this will be the perfect location to visit the British capital. Enjoy the warm summer nights on our patio with your friends or family and a 5-star treatment, thanks to a professional housekeeping service and luxury linens. Space This warm and spacious home is perfect for those travelling with family or friends. Ideally located near the bubbly Brixton, it is just an 8-minute bus ride to Brixton tube station. The house comes with a private entrance, giving you all the privacy you need for your stay. The flat has 2 generous double bedrooms with lots of natural light coming from full-length windows. There is plenty of storage, so don't worry about keeping that jacket in your suitcase: you never know what London's weather has in store. The third room is slightly smaller than the other two - a single one. Plus, it has a desk, so you can still check your e-mails if you're working. Our home has also a very clean, modern-looking bathroom. Enjoy your bath and forget about the rest! The warm and welcoming living area is the heart of the home, with a 6-person dining table next to the window. Moreover, you can spend a lovely evening sunk into a super-cosy sofa, which is also a double sofa bed. Our kitchen has everything you need, including a microwave, toaster and kettle to enjoy a quick cup of tea, offered in our Welcome Pack. The counter has a lot of room to prepare all your family's favourite dishes. And if you are lucky enough, you might be able to enjoy our British, fresh summer nights on our private patio. Bring on that BBQ! High chairs and travel costs can be provided on request. Our property will be professionally cleaned before your stay with towels provided. Access Guests can access the entire apartment. The building is manned by a concierge & it is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours. Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform. Neighborhood Streatham means literally 'The hamlet on the street'. The street in question, the London to Brighton Way, was the Roman road from the capital Londinium to the South coast near Portslade, today within Brighton and Hove. Brixton, instead, hosted settlements only from around the 18th century, when the original woodland was gradually reduced until the area was covered in farmland and market gardens known for game and strawberries. In recent years Brixton has hosted a regular farmers' market on Station Road, as well as pop-up restaurants and shops. New art galleries, delicatessens, bars, cafes and vintage clothing stores, particularly in and around Brixton Village Market have also opened. As for Streatham, in November 2013, the new Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre opened to the public. The leisure centre houses a 60x30m indoor ice rink with 1,000 rink-side seats, a six-lane 25 m swimming pool, 13 m teaching pool, four-court sports hall and a gym with 100 stations. The jazz venue Hideaway continues Streatham's long entertainment tradition. It features live performances of jazz, funk, swing and soul music as well as stand-up comedy nights. housed in shipping containers! For films, the Ritzy cinema is where locals go. And for those in search of a party, Brixton’s famous live venues, including the Brixton Academy and Hootananny are where it’s at. Takeaways, cafes, and small bites are available on the neighbouring New Park Road or in along Brixton Hill just behind this. Continuing walking south along Brixton Hill, one can find within 3/4 minutes Asafo, a Ghanaian Restaurant to the right into Morrish Rd. Past that there is a big junction with the S Circular Road, where you'll be able to find a typical British pub: the Crown & Sceptre. On the north side of Brixton Hill, instead, just by walking down about 4/5 minutes, there is a caribbean restaurant with outdoor space called Negril. Transit Transport links to Central London are available all around the house, which is just in between Brixton and Streatham stations, connecting you to Victoria and Northern tube lines. Several quick bus routes with bus stops just are around the corner. From Brixton, you can get to Oxford Circus in just 15 minutes! Notes Please note that no loud noises between 22:00 pm and 8:00 am are allowed, with respect to our neighbours. We invite you not to use shoes when on the carpet and be mindful of and careful with our decoration vases and pots around the house. Additional amenities: Full KitchenMore
