Dining room also contains 2 easy chairs & a bookcase with books, DVD's, and welcome information.
Brand new fitted kitchen, which is fully equipped and contains quality appliances.
Kitchen with electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Brand new fitted bathroom with toilet, hand basin with mixer tap, and a mirrored bathroom cabinet.
Brand new bathroom with full size bath, and over bath shower with glass shower door.
Main bedroom with double bed and smart TV.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds which can be separated or put together to serve as a double.
The 3rd bedroom with 2 full size separate single beds.

I can be contacted both before and during your visit via email and/or mobile, and a friend who lives a couple of houses along has a spare key, and can be contacted in case of practicalities or emergencies during your stay. A welcome pack will be provided upon your arrival. I live in Bristol but consider Llansteffan to be my second home. My mother and her family have lived in Llansteffan for many generations, and I am happy to share any information you would like to discover about Llansteffan and the local area, both historical and current.

Ive just stayed here for 9 days with my dogs to get away for some peace & quiet. Couldn’t recommend more, the cottage is really well equipped & homely. We had a lovely family Christmas here, with everything we needed for a great Christmas. The property is in a good location for access to places to visit or just taking walks along the local beach. We would highly recommend a stay here!

About the neighbourhood
Llansteffan is a small peaceful village in a spectacular location by the 3 rivers estuary in Carmarthen Bay. Situated between the Tywi estuary & gorgeous green countryside, its as quiet and unspoilt a place as you are ever likely to find. Carmarthen Bay is a European Special Area of Conservation & as well as being exceptionally beautiful it contains a rich diversity of habitats & wildlife. Choose to spend a day at the beach, explore the 13th Century Norman Castle, stroll along the extensive Wales Coast Path, or go on stunning country walks through fields and woodlands.
Getting around
Local buses connect Llansteffan to Carmarthen, where there is a train station. However to visit the attractions a bit further afield a car is recommended. The glorious Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Dylan Thomas’s boat house at Laugharne, the Gwili Steam Railway, Aberglasney Gardens, and the National Botanic Garden of Wales are all roughly half an hours drive away; while Dinefwr Castle, the Brecon Beacons National Park, Oakwood theme park, and the Gower Peninsula are all under an hours drive away.

Take the M4 west to where it ends at Junction 49, and continue straight on the A48 dual carriageway for 24km until you reach Carmarthen. Then take the A40 towards St Clears and just after B&Q take a sharp turning on your left signposted B4312 Llansteffan. Turn right at the traffic lights then follow the B4312 for 11km until you reach Llansteffan village. Turn very sharp left into Water Lane following the sign for the beach, then into the road running parallel which is Glan Y Mor. We are number 16.

Carmarthen train station is 13km away, with trains to Swansea, Cardiff, Bristol and stops onwards towards London Paddington. There are also trains towards Pembrokeshire, and north towards Manchester.
