We are also only 25 minutes to many of the famous Golf Courses in East Lothian, The Old Millhouse is perfect for Golfing and for visiting all the Edinburgh sights including The Edinburgh Festival.

The house is located the Old Town of Dalkeith, which is only 10 minutes to the now famous Roslyn Chapel of The De Vinci Code. A must to visit for a fabulous cup of Coffee or a delicious lunch walking distance from the house is The Restoration Yard. Dalkeith also has many pubs and Restaurants and two award restaurants are only 5 minutes from the door.

About the neighbourhood
Dalkeith, one of Scotlands oldest market towns, many historic buildings one of which is The Duke of Buccleuch Dalkeith Palace. The town itself only 15 mintues to the Capital City of Edinburgh, Roslyn Chapel, Dalhousie Castle and Crichton Castle. Dalkeith is also an excellent starting point to visit The Scottish Borders, where many of the Great Houses are located as well as Floors Castle.
Dalkeith can offer everything from a chilled glass real Ale to a perfect Caffe Latte in many of the cafes and resturants.
