Villa
Seaside Villa 1 and 2 are both 2-storey beach house with 4 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom (one bedroom is on the ground floor, 3 are upstairs). The villas sleep 8 guests comfortably. They have a large living and dining area opening onto the outside terrace and its' own private swimming pool plus a big kitchen, pantry & laundry. The villa are next to each other and are 230 metres from the beach and located within the 'Tamani' property. Just walk through our beautiful lush gardens to the beach. Guests from Seaside Villa 1 and 2 also have access to a shared beachfront swimming pool.

Great house & pool, perfect beach
We had a great vacation in this tropical paradise. Its the perfect place for a family holiday and our kids were always happy with the pool right on our doorstep.
The villa itself is beautiful, showing the love and care which has gone into creating the place, the rooms are spacious and well furnished with lovely views of the garden. There are lots of gorgeous monkeys in the trees (but watch out, they stole your mangoes!)
The staff were very helpful and we had delicious meals, sometimes inside and sometimes out on the terrace. We felt cozy and safe and well looked after.
Each day we walked the few hundred yards down the path to the white sandy beach. The beach and the water are to die for and our short trip to the coral reef in a dugout canoe with a sail was an experience we will not forget.
However my attempts at kite surfing are something I would like to forget. Its a fabulous spot for this sport and the other guys out on the kites made it look easy, so i checked into the kite surfing school on the beach, hoping to be like them. Seems 2 lessons are definitely not enough.
We want to come back soon so i'll keep trying!

Breath taking! Amazing design without neglecting the african style!
The house is breath taking beautiful! The beach is very close but the location of the house gives you some peace and quiet together with its private pool. Good location. Cook and house keeper did also a very good job. We'll be back for sure!

Gorgeous. Highly recommended!
We stayed for a week in September with 5 adults and a child (aged 2) and had an incredible time.
The house is bright and airy, tastefully decorated and is well proportioned.
The living room is a great place to hang out and you just need a couple of steps from sofa to private pool.
Beach is a 3 min walk and there’s a larger shared pool there with ample sun loungers.
Mwatata the cook was wonderful and helped us prepare and serve meals.
Milka the cleaner kept the place lovely and tidy. Really lovely staff.
Tuk-Tuks (seating 3) are easily available from in front of the compound and taxis are just a call away to get to restaurant or the well stocked Foodplus supermarket nearby.
The owner organized two taxis for the 6 of us from the airport, which was super handy.
We felt safe and comfortable everywhere we went.
WiFi was good and fast.
There’s a lovely sandbank, great for kids, about a 10 min walk along the beach (turn right as you come out onto the beach) which is perfect for kids at low tide.
The beach is gorgeous and The Beach Boys only a minor hassle.
The owner lives in the compound and was made sure that we were well looked after and happy.
Highly recommended! Fair price, beautiful house, lovely staff - what more do you want!

Beautiful property! Excellent employees! We loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay at seaside villa one. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The children really enjoyed the pool at the house as well as the beachfront one. Different members of our group rode a camel, tried kite surfing, took a boat ride to the sand bar, snorkeled, ate in the cave restaurant, swam, relaxed...
We cannot say enough good things about Milka the housekeeper and Cosmas the chef. He really amazed us with every meal he put before us. The pool tender kept the pool beautifully clean for us too. They were all so kind and welcoming that we felt very much at home. The owner(I think it was the owner) was easy to communicate with and arranged our transportation from the airport.
I could not recommend seaside villa one enough for anyone considering renting it.
We loved it!

Dream, dream, dream
The house is beautifully conceived and decorated. Every room opens on the outside and the pool (quite convenient and private).
The master room is outstanding (balcony, large dressing room, a raw and comfortable bathroom), this being stated all other rooms are well-conceived and with its own charms and pluses.
The chef was agreeable and imaginative and shared many local recipes.
Ideal for friends to share.
Some extra sundecks would be a plus.

Restful sanctuary delivers rejuvenating week!
Villa 1 is a spacious and restful sanctuary that is beautifully designed and luxuriously appointed. The beds are large, comfortable, and the ceiling fans and mosquito nets assure a deep night's sleep. The private pool is rejuvenating anytime of day or night. The chef prepared nutritious and full meals three times a day featuring fresh fruit and fish. And the miles of pristine beach were empty and magnificent.
We loved our week there and look forward to bringing our friends and family back soon.

Beautiful house with incredible chef and stunning pool.
We were 4 adults and 5 kids and had the perfect holiday at Seaside Villa One. Food was delicious and chef bent over backwards to accomodate our menu requests. The house was beautiful - so stylish and spacious - and we all loved the pool on days when the beach was too hot. We also enjoyed the compound's shared pool some days. The beach was just a short walk away and absolutely stunning. Superb restaurant just next door down beach too. Can't find any fault. Thanks so much Hugh and team!

Perfect, open space, coastal house
The location is amazing - the beach is a small walk away and not far from shops or restaurants. This is a great family-friendly house with a stunning pool and wonderful interior. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed Hugh's (the owner) company over dinner and couldn't have asked for a better place to relax! Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous house
A beautiful villa, set back a bit from the beach so it's quiet and lovely. Very spacious, huge rooms, lots of breeze. Will definitely visit again!

Amazing experience
We had an amazing experience in this property. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids and the property fit us perfectly and it is a beautiful home.
Just a few glitches, the beddings and towels could use some replacement as some were old and torn. The beds were super hard which made it hard for all of us to have restful nights. The food was average and could be tasteful, breakfast was always late as chef arrived after 8.30am and the kids woke up earlier even after we mentioned we would like to have breakfast at 8.30am. These things did not change our overall experience, we just felt like some honesty and some bit of commitment in work is needed from both the chef and the housekeeper.

Thank you Triza for coming to stay with us and I’m pleased you had an amazing stay in our villa.
On the sheets and towels that you write about, I’ve checked with our housekeeper and she says that you didn’t raise any issue with her. This would have been the thing to do. I’ve now personally checked all the bed linen in our storeroom and we cannot find any sheet with a hole, or torn or threadbare. In fact they are all of fine quality and in excellent condition. So I’m at a bit of a loss there. However we did find a tiny tear in one bath towel – no more than 3cm long – again had you raised this with the housekeeper she would have immediately changed it for you. Our desire is always to provide the best quality experience we can for our guests.
On the beds, we have high quality mattresses and generally get many comments about how comfortable our beds are. Some guests have even written reviews to say that. Obviously many of us have different desires for our mattress type – some like soft, some hard, some medium (as ours are). We have many guests and try to find the middle ground. Again the best thing to do if you are unhappy about something is raise it with the staff. Our staff are there to help. Guests repeatedly voice their praise for both of them.
I apologise if our cook arrived late in the morning. He should have been there by 8am rather than 8.30 if you requested that, but he says he thought you had asked him to come at 8.30am to make breakfast. Sorry for any misunderstanding or mix-up and I will ensure that he keeps good time in future.
You will be welcome to come back and stay again.

About the neighbourhood
This is THE best area of beach in Kenya. It's fabulous, the water is clear, warm and calm and so is great for kids and adults alike.
There are about 10 restaurants/cafes/bars within 5kms, with most being in the Diani beach area but there are 3 excellent beach restaurants/bars within 300 metres - just a short walk along the beach.
Getting around
Getting around in Diani Beach and adjacent areas is easy. There are many tuk tuks - these are cheap and you can usually flag one down at the front gate with 1 minute.
There are also plenty of taxis available - there are phone numbers for drivers in the 'Guest Info' booklet in the house.
Walking along the beach a few hundred metres to the various and nearby beach bars and restaurants is completely safe, day and night.

How to get there
If you fly to Mombasa MOI airport, you take a taxi to get here. We are happy to book a taxi for you if you give us your flight details. The fare for a standard taxis is around KES 6,000/- (about US$45 / 45 euro / GBP40); larger 7 seater taxis cost KES 1,000 more.
There's also the local Diani/Ukunda airstrip for flights from Nairobi. This is the best way to get here as the airstrip is only 6kms from the house and a standard taxi will cost about KES1,250/- (about US$10 / 9 euro / GBP8) for the 12 minute drive.
Which ever way you come, the taxi driver will usually stop at the shopping centre in Diani Beach if you want to buy your food supplies on the way here (this is a good idea as you go right past the supermarkets & fruit and vegetable shops and it saves a longer trip out later on). The taxi may add a small 'waiting time' surcharge but it's very little.
