Cariad Bach is a mid-terrace stone built cottage situated in the centre of Rachub, an old quarrying village, in the foothills of Snowdonia National Park.
The Snowdonia National Park is renowned for its scenic beauty. There are wonderful scenic walks and bike rides in all directions and Mount Snowdon with its famous summit railway is only nine miles away. It is also a very popular area for mountain climbing. Bethesda is less that a mile away where Zip World contains the longest zip wire in Europe.
The beaches of the North Wales coastline, the Lleyn Peninsular and Anglesey are all within easy reach.
Caernarfon, Conwy, Beaumaris, Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed are all only a short drive away. You could even take a day trip to Ireland (from Holyhead).

The house is a terraced property in the village centre, with shop, pub and bakery all within walking distance. There is a parking area less than 50 yards from the house. The village is also served by regular public transport.
Accommodation comprises a small front door with steps leading into the kitchen containing a free standing gas oven, hob and grill, a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine.
There is a separate lounge with inglenook stone fireplace and multi-fuel stove (initial supply of fuel provided), seating for four people, dining table and chairs, TV with Freeview and a DVD player. There is a selection of books, games and DVD's available for entertainment if the weather turns for the worst.
On the first floor are two double bedrooms, each bedroom is supplied with bed-linen and towels. A bathroom with WC, sink and bath with electric shower over and a landing with additional storage.
There are electric panel heaters in the lounge and bedrooms, the cost of all gas and electric is included in the rent, even during the Winter months!
Outside there is a large garden with seating for four and a BBQ. There is a sun shed with chairs and tables, smoking is welcome in the sun shed but please do not smoke in the cottage. The sun shed is also handy for storing equipment such as bicycles.
We would like to make you aware that although children are very welcome, this cottage may not be appropriate for the under-fives as the staircase is steep, the window sills in bedrooms are low and easy to climb up on to. The garden also contains old dry-stone walls which rocks can easily be pulled from and there are un-even slate paving slabs.
