The apartment has been fully renovated in July 2018. It has an open plan lounge and kitchen. 2 bedrooms, one with an ensuite and family bathroom with bath. The apartment is only 13 years old and is convenient for access to Glasgow, Stirling or Edinburgh. The train station is 0.3 miles away (5 minute walk) and express trains take 19 minutes to Glasgow Queen Street. The Fort Shopping Centre and cinema is a 6 minute drive away. Drumpellier Country Park is less than 2 miles from the apartment. Gartcosh is an ever growing village within Glasgow. It is peaceful, friendly and an ideal base to explore Scotland. Within 15 minutes drive, you can explore Glasgow and return to a quieter way of life. Enjoy the local Chinese Restaurant situated 1 minute from the apartment. There is also a convenience store and pharmacy. Tea House on the Loch is also worth a visit. Open everyday from 10am to 4pm (closed on Wednesday).

There are no direct trains however, you can travel from Gartcosh to Falkirk then change for Edinburgh. Local buses are also available. Glasgow Airport: 17 miles (23 min drive off peak) Edinburgh Airport: 35 miles (37 min drive off peak) Glasgow Prestwick Airport: 40 miles (51 mins off peak)
