We live next to the Barn and we are always here to welcome guests. There are electric gates onto the property. We would be grateful if you could telephone us or email or message, to let us know your estimated time of arrival so that we can look out for you and let you through the electric gates onto the property. I will send you information about the electric gates before your stay. We are around much of the time and are very happy to assist you at any time. We also loan you a SAT NAV for your stay if you need one. If you want to go out for a meal locally we are happy to take you and fetch you back.

The property is situated opposite the entrance to RSPB Coombes Valley Nature Reserve. By train;Macclesfield is 17 miles (27 km) away. Follow the A523 from Macclesfield to Leek and from Leek to Ashbourne. On the Ashbourne road after passing Bradnop, turn up the minor road (and across a disused railway line) to Apesford (signposted to RSPB Coombes Valley) - the reserve is on the left after one mile (1.6 km).By bus, no.108 from Leek to Ashbourne, twice a day.
