About the neighbourhood
The characterful market town of Leek lies at the heart of the Staffordshire Peak District. Steeped in history with links to William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement. Leek is a lovely town to explore. Don't miss the fantastic weekly markets held for more than 800 years. The unspoilt town centre is a refreshing change from modern shopping malls, it offers plenty of individual retailers and has some unique speciality antique shops. You will be able to explore huge Victorian mills, formerly silk mills but now housing antique centres and traditional and contemporary art galleries.Leek also has many popular supermarkets:Sainsburys, Morrisons, Asda, Aldi and the Co-op,or get your order delivered.
The lovely Rudyard Lake has been a favourite beauty spot for visiting families for over...
