Leysdown on Sea is a traditional seaside resort with arcades, fish and chips and a beach. There is a clubhouse on the park with bar, snacks and entertainments. There is a small shop opposite the entrance.

Holiday chalet available at Leysdown on Sea. Fully equipped with bedlinen. . Lovely walking around the area and this is a seaside town with fish and chips, amusements etc.
Dog and kid friendly. I'd say it's generally suitable for elderly people as my late mum used it until she was 90. You can park very near and see plenty going on when you sit and look out onto the field. There is a step to get in though, see photos.

Usually I aim to meet you personally however there maybe occasions when I have to arrange to leave a key. You will be let know in advance what the arrangements will be. I will always be available on the phone to talk you through arrival if I am unable to personally attend. I will be available to respond to any problems or questions throughout your visit.

My granddaughter's loved it cos there was a big grassed area for them to play the neighbors were lovely n the chalet was basic but good when you have granddaughters n a dog

About the neighbourhood
Leysdown on sea is a traditional seaside town with fish and chips, amusement arcades and importantly a nice beach. There is countryside around so suitable for walking. Sheerness is the nearest big town with supermarkets etc. This is 9 miles west of Leysdown on Sea. There is a public swimming pool there.
For those that like walking either with a dog or without there is some beautiful countryside to the south side of the island down Harty Ferry Road.
Getting around
A bus passes the entrance to the park - please check for current timetable witb bus company. There is a train station in Sheerness - South Eastern trains. Guests have come on public transport to stay and found it a suitable location.

Rochester, Canterbury and Faversham are possible destinations if you feel like exploring further afield. Rochester and Canterbury are known for their history and Faversham is a quaint and pretty old town.

Railway: Sheerness: 15.0 km
The chalet is in Leysdown on Sea. To get to the Isle of Sheppey you cross the bridge onto the island. The road then forks giving choices of Sheerness of Leysdown on Sea so choose the Leysdown option, travelling east for about 7 miles on the same road. The entrance to the holiday park is opposite the Evangelical Church in Warden Bay Road.
