Leysdown on Sea is a traditional seaside resort with arcades, fish and chips and a beach. There is a clubhouse on the park with bar, snacks and entertainments. There is a small shop opposite the entrance.
Holiday chalet available at Leysdown on Sea. Fully equipped with bedlinen, duvets and spare blankets. Good supply of hot water . There is a low electricity supply in the chalet and the heating and water is powered by gas.
Lovely walking around the area and this is a seaside town with fish and chips, amusements etc.
Dog and kid friendly. I'd say it's generally suitable for elderly people as my late mum used it until she was 90. You can park very near and see plenty going on when you sit and look out onto the field. There is a step to get in though, see photos.

Chalet is 2 bedroom, so double bedroom, then a bedroom with two single beds. In the lounge there is a bed settee to sleep one adult or two kids. Galley kitchen, shower and toilet. Kettle, microwave, cooker, iron and ironing board provided. Set on the edge of a large field; I love the feeling of space and freedom, plus plenty of space to play outside. If you stand in front of the chalet on a sunny day you can just see the sea a band of blue (over the top of other chalets) and ships passing in the distance. 2017 bathing water quality is deemed 'excellent'. The sea goes out a long way and beach is shallow.
There is a washing machine at the chalet I provide ironing board and iron and there is a line along the side of the chalet and pegs.
.
Paddling pool bucket and spade and hoopla hoop plus some books with seaside theme. Toys vary as tend to get broken so please ask for an up to date list prior to your stay if you require it.
Please note I can provide bedlinen but generally NOT TOWELS, this is because of the impracticality of the long time towels take to dry. I have a lot going on in my life particularly in the summer season and cannot sit and wait for them to dry, however much I'd like to have the time. So, please bring your own. Any problem though please ask in good time and I'll try and help out.
Extremely seating in dining / lounge area in the form of garden chairs that fold up and can also be used outside. 5 dining chairs plus an outdoor table and chairs so you could always bring those into the chalet for extra seating and table space for larger groups.
Dogs on leads 6ft max in the park area.
There is a public swimming pool at Sheerness to check opening times
The chalet is older style but pleasant to be in.

The general area of Sheppey is very tired looking. Not a very welcoming place. Chalet was okay but we did need to do a bit of cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom before use. Probably didn't get a good picture due to the time of...More
