About the neighbourhood
Hayton is a very lovely Cumbrian Stone Village,, very quiet, quaint, and friendly, if you need to ask anyone anything people are always happy to help. Hayton as an area is close to Carlisle Town. It's on the borders of Northumberland for those that fancy a drive out to Bamburgh Beach, Seahouses, Alnwick. Or take a short drive to the beautiful Lake District. There are many nice places to eat. Fantails, The Stone Inn, The Queens at Warwick on Eden. Talkin Tarn is only 4miles from Hayton, with a big Lake to walk round with a little cafe. There is so much to do just on your doorstep. For the Golfers amount you you have a choice of about 4-5 Carlisle, Brampton, Alston, Warwick on Eden. There are also a lot around the Dumfries and Galloway area.
