Our traditional croft cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday, in an island setting which you can choose to be as relaxing or as active as you wish. Bookings are available from Saturday to Saturday in high season, but other durations can be available from October to May. Bike or car hire can be arranged. Within a 10 miles radius of the cottage are a number of the most popular visitor sites on the Isle of Lewis -- the Callanish Stones, the Norse Mill, The Carloway Broch (Fort) and the popular surfing beaches of Dalmore and Dalbeag. The large kitchen has everything you need for your stay including washing machine, dryer, fridge, dishwasher and freezer. The sitting room has an open fire and wide selection of books, games, and DVDs. There are three bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin. The downstairs bedroom has an en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. Upstairs there are a further two bedrooms and a study area. The cottage has wireless broadband and digital TV. The back porch is ideal for storing wet weather and fishing gear etc. There is ample off-road parking. Bed linen and towels are provided. Mill Cottage is situated on a large working croft in the village of North Shawbost (Siabost bho tuath). Shawbost beach is less than 10 minutes walk from the cottageMore

Easy access. Plenty of parking. Friendly locals. Easy walking from the door. Very good local beach. Spacious kitchen. Property a bit tired and in need of some updating.

If you have never been to the Hebrides this cottage is a great location to explore. There is also a lovely quiet beach nearby. The cottage has everything you would need. Well equipped and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

Turn left out of ferry terminal and follow the road through the town centre passing straight over two roundabouts (past Co-op superstore).
