Vejer de la Frontera is in the heart on Cádiz province, and offers a great variety of history, culture, and of course food and drink.
Getting around
A rental car is a good idea, especially as they are so inexpensive in spain. Get your cover for the 'excess' before you go and then say 'no' to the big hidden charge. Otherwise, it's a taxi to the beach. Apart from that, walk everywhere in Vejer. If you feel adventurous, get the bus from Sevilla (I have done this more than once) and climb the hill from La Barca up to Vejer hilltop - strenuous, backpack only up cement road - or get a cab up.
