AH-MAZING!!!!!!!!! You will not be disapointed
A once in a life time experience, you will not be disappointed! Literally everything was amazing, the food, the people, the house, the water... everything. The cook makes everything from scratch (you MUST try her empanade!) and is so sweet , the maintenance guy, Ronaldo is also amazing and the owners truly couldn't go further out of their way to give you the ultimate experience and of course, they are also amazing... have I said it was amazing yet? you can kayak to other islands, snorkel, swim, sit in the hammock with the beautiful sea breeze.. and the beds are super comfy. GO! YOU WILL LOVE EVERY SINGLE MOMENT .

A wonderful destination
I chose Tarpon Sands as a fishing destination more than 6 months prior to our visit. Sarah and Peter could not have been more accommodating. They accounted for every detail from transportation to food menus. The house and grounds were beautiful and the staff was superb. If you are looking for a quiet island destination to fish, dive, or just relax this is a great choice. I look forward to my next visit.

Family friendly luxury
Perfection: family-owned, luxury, child-friendly private island. Children and parents can explore the island and reef during the day and relax by the campfire at night. The stars lit up the sky and bioluminescence glowed in the sea adding to the magic of Tarpon Sands!

Beautiful private island getaway!
Tarpon Sands comes with everything you need, a beautiful beach, kayaks, and a wonderful staff to make sure all of your needs are met. Peter and Sarah make sure their guests are treated very well and their cook is amazing! Our party of 5 had a great stay on the island. They are in the process of building an additional kitchen and dining area, which will give guests more privacy, so that will be great as well. I highly recommend a stay at Tarpon Sands if you really want to getaway! And if you want to be taken to see sights in Belize or some great snorkeling, Sarah will arrange trips for you with some great folks she has worked with for years.

There's no way to describe how great this place and people associated with it really are!
Spent a week here and couldn't have imagined it to be any better. I actually am a little hesitate to let anyone know to much about this place for fear it would always be full! You can be assured that I will spend at least a week if not more each year til the day I die!

Tarpon Sands
This was my third trip to Tarpon Sands. Peter and Sarah did a fabulous job of making our stay very special. The house staff was also top notch. The accommodations as always were great. If you are looking for a remote vacation or fishing trip you couldn’t find a better location.

Belize. Life on a small island.
Tarpon Sands is my idea of paradise. It's a short 30 min. boat ride from Belize city by boat. We were met at the airport by Sarah who had done an excellent job in coordinating our arrival. We were traveling as a small group of 6 fisherman and were amazed at the exclusivity of the location. The updates include a new two story building with a second floor dining room and kitchen with panoramic views of the ocean. The eastern edge of the property has a beautiful boardwalk that ends at a thatch covered gazebo. There was always a cool breeze there. Although there is no beach per se, there is very good swimming with sandy bottom to the east. A number of kayaks were available for use. There was easy access to the reef by boat where one could snorkle or explore. No waves on the Caribbean side. This is a great private remote location with great food and relaxed atmosphere.
