Set midway between Beadnell and Seahouses, it is the ideal base to explore this magnificent area with sweeping beaches and splendid coastal walks. Visit Alnwick, 9 miles, with its castle, enchanting water gardens and cobbled streets or venture along the coast to Bamburgh or Dunstanburgh castles. Take a boat trip over to the Farne Islands to visit the puffins or cross the causeway to Holy Island when the tide is out. Travel on the A1 either North or South Take the turning travelling to the North (after Alnwick approx. 8 miles) to the right (cross the A1) signed Ellingham, Doxford, Preston, Chathill. Follow this road for approx. 600 yards and on the right is a small turning to Tyneley (also says Doxford Hall and Spa). Take this turning and travel approx. 800 yards you will see a small row of little cottages. Dotty Cottage is the second from the right hand end. Parking is to the rear of the property. The garden is the second garden along (detached) with the blue wooden small summerhouse. ARRIVAL DETAILS Please call the owner Mr/s Mason on *********** or mob ************ 7-10 days before arrival to obtain the arrival instructions and obtain your key details.
