Situtated in the village of Lisanza, only half an hour by car from Milan Malpensa airport and 10mins from Sesto Calende mainline rail station the house is in a small condominium of six two storey units . A 3mins walk through trees leads to a small secluded beach and a 5mins drive to Lisanza village where there are bars and restaurants and a beach. The house is a short drive away from the towns of Sesto Calende and Angera which are ideal for walks along lakeside promenades lined with cafes and restaurants. Angera is the home of La Rocca (a castle set high above the town) and there is a ferry stop for trips across to Arona and up the lake to Stresa and the Borromeo Islands and even onto Switzerland. The property has been refurbished, with the main living area on the first floor, which has a small balcony overlooking the condominium gardens, and the ground floor utility/living area leads onto a private garden at the rear, ideal for alfresco dining complete with patio table, sun umbrella and chairs, also BBQ. The central heating and hot water boiler is mains gas powered and the apartment has wood burning appliances on both floors. The first floor open plan living space comprises a lounge area with an L shaped settee, nest of coffee tables, glass fronted storage unit with storage cupboards, and a corner wood burning glass fronted fireplace, The fitted kitchen is complete with dining table and four chairs and includes refrigerator, freezer, microwave, electric oven and gas hob. There is a double bedroom with kingsize bed, wardrobes, etc., and an adjacent bathroom with wc, shower, bidet and washbasin. The ground floor comprises a large living/utility area with double bed size settee, wardrobe and storage units, computer desk, two easy chairs with footstools and coffee table. There is a wood burning stove. The utility area is a separate room with sink and washing machine, wash hand basin and wc, also ironing board and iron. There is direct access to the private enclosed garden. Towels and Bed Linen will be provided. Beach towels not included. From mid October to mid April the additional cost for gas heating is £10 per day. Please note that pets are not allowed and the apartment is not wheelchair friendly. We have a strict no smoking policy.More

As we live a 10minute drive away we are able to meet you on arrival and handover the keys and main gate electronic key. We will accompany you into the property to explain the full workings of the appliances ,etc., and are on hand to assist you during your stay. We will provide a 'welcome booklet' which will show you the main attractions and places of interest close by.

By car Via Pasturazza is off the SP 69 about halfway between Angera and Sesto Calende. A regular bus service runs between Angera and Sesto Calende (N20)
