Villa Lacustre was beautifully rustic but with all our modern needs met as well. The views from every window were beautiful. We loved spending time in the kitchen and of course out at the pool lounging. We slept wonderfully on all of the beds and with the ability to adjust individual bedroom ac units.
Marco [the owner] was there for anything we needed throughout the whole process. Whenever we had questions we were able to use WhatsApp and he responded quickly. He was friendly and knowledgeable and it was clear we were in great hands with him! Marco was so accommodating that when we had early flights out, he met us the night prior for check out.
Summer In Italy was also super responsive with any questions and preparation for our trip. I felt fully informed on things to expect while renting abroad. It was easy to request beds being pushed together, etc. They were incredibly helpful and kind throughout the whole process!

We were moved from another villa with problems to ...
We were moved from another villa with problems to this one and it was like a breath of fresh air. What a super place! There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this villa and even more to like about the owner, Marco. Marco greeted us and gave us a tour when we arrived. The villa was spotlessly clean, with everything you could imagine you'd need for a self catering holiday. From an ice maker to the large fridge freezer, a bottle of wine to greet us with, and more wine to purchase with an honesty basket, this villa was a dream to stay in. The pool was clean and large, the hot tub a perfect temperature. One living room had a pool table, TV, and comfy sofas, while the other had a serene vibe with a nice log burner and sofas... I could have stolen the beds had I owned a vehicle large enough! They were so comfortable! This villa is definitely on our list to return to and highly recommended.
There is nothing Marco could do to improve this property for future guests. We will be returning, for sure.
Summer In Italy dealt with our situation at the initial villa we had book promptly and to our satisfaction. They responded to all emails in a timely manner and I was pleased with the outcome we received. I'd definitely book with them again.

Great quality. Everything was as we expected. Our flight was a late one, so the Property Manager met us at a nearby petrol station and led us to the property. This was especially appreciated since the road from main road to villa was very rough. Marco was really helpful throughout our stay. Check in and out was easy. Marco booked us tables at the local pizzeria a couple of times and gave us recommendations for shopping etc. Beautiful area, great scenery and fascinating culture in Florence. All in all a great week

We loved our stay at Villa Lacustre with four adults and two children. Pool was wonderful and it was great to be able to sit outside the kitchen on the shade. It was all very clean and lovely comfortable beds. WE all enjoyed the pizza cooked for us on our last day, thanks.

We spent one week at Villa Lacustre with 9 people and we didn't feel crowded at all.It was very nice, quiet, clean and pretty. We would return if we were able to.
