Trullo -

Monopoli, Province of Bari, Puglia
Authentic and lovely trulli in Monopoli’s countryside surrounded by garden and olive trees. The trulli are comfortably furnished and sleeps up to five people in three bedrooms.

The trullo has recently undergone a careful renovation during which the characteristic parts of the trulli have been restored in its honor. The house has been modernized...

The trulli is nice, quiet, clean and good decoration. Outside is perfect to have dinner under the big tree, have a rest and nice views of the countryside full of fruit trees and olives. Good location to visit very nice towns and the coast is near with nice places to have a bath. This is a great family, very friendly...

Staying in this very quiet and private Trulli was a wonderful experience. It was in a lovely location just down the road past the hosts' house surrounded by a variety of fruit trees. The location was convenient to all the other cities in the area. Be sure you have navigation however, because the roads are a bit of a mouse...

We have always found that the universal language of kindness, appreciation of fine foods, and wine and the love of nature always work. The trulli in late September was magnificent, quiet and surrounded by ancient olive and fruit trees. We even...

About the neighbourhood
Monopoli is a charming town on the Adriatic. It is famous for its pristine beaches, historic center and baroque churches. The town grew considerably in the Baroque period. The twelfth-century cathedral was given a new façade and many noble houses were built such as the lovely Palmieri mansion.

The artistical heritage is notable. Starting in the lovely historic centre, you will find old houses facing onto quays giving a clear impression of medieval landing stages. The streets make up a labyrinth of paths that lead to the sea. The cathedral is one of the most interesting examples of Apulian Baroque....
