This duplex apartment is fully equipped with all the conveniences for modern living, very spacious interior and comfortably decorated throughout and is particularly suitable for families with children. Two upstairs Bedrooms both en-suite. The gardens have a children's playground. The balcony overlooks the pool as well as having views towards the sea and river. Being a Duplex apartment has the advantage of having nobody on floors above you which gives you peace and quiet with your own front door access. Free Wi-Fi in Reception/Bar areas.

A car is not required as it is a 10 minute stroll to the Beaches and the lovely village of Alvor with its varied Restaurants and culinary delights with something to suit every taste and the famed Sea food which make this fishing village famous. I would have given an excellent rating if the weather had been better. We arrived out of season but knew this and it did not spoil our stay. The apartment had everything you would need for a summer stay. Unfortunately we had an unusually cold week and although the apartment was great, it's a big space to heat with oil...

Brian (the owner) was always very quick to respond to any questions we had both before and during our holiday. The lovely 2 bedroom apartment was clean and had a well equipt kitchen. The Apartment has two Bedrooms each with their own Bathroom within and downstairs WC. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious open plan living/dining room with outside patio Terrace to relax on and enjoys sun all day and wonderful views with Patio table and chairs. There are newly fitted Electric shutters for ease of use opening onto both Patio's, Wi-Fi available in public areas around Reception/Bar. The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. The Algarve has some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Portugese people are friendly and helpful the food is great and All in all the Algarve, particularly ALVOR is a great holiday destination offering everything needed to ensure a wonderful break

About the neighbourhood
The ancient coastal village of ALVOR is now a very popular holiday destination. It is well located facing a natural lagoon opening onto the sea. It has a long open sandy beach and a number of small coves tucked under the cliffs. ALVOR'S maze of cobbled streets is full of busy restaurants, many barbecuing outside and it is known for its traditional charm. The Harbour in Alvor is a beautiful setting at Sunset and has retained that old-world feel with its many Beautiful restaurants along the front with sea views and fabulous dining. Adega Do Cantor, the Vineyard of Cliff Richards is nearby and you can visit for a Day trip and Wine tasting - www.winesvidanova.com.
