Mac's Cottage in Stanhope, Prince Edward Island, is located on a large lot overlooking the Covehead Bay, on the beautiful North Shore of Prince Edward Island. The cottage is newly renovated, has three small bedrooms, a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen and bath. Mac's Cottage is well equipped with everything you need for your vacation at the beach. We supply all kitchen supplies, quality bedding, towels including beach towels, beach chairs, beach pass to the National Park. We open the latter part of June and close the end of September - This is a summer rental property only as the cottage is not insulated. The deck at the back has a large picnic table and a gas barbecue for dining outdoors. It is private and located in a wonderful cottage neighbourhood. The north shore beach is a short walk, 10 minute walk to Ross Lane Beach National Park Stanhope, from Mac's Cottage which will take you to some of the greatest beaches in North America. Most Beaches along the North Shore are protected by the National Parks and a number of them have supervised areas for your safety. Less than 500 metres away is the Stanhope Golf and Country Club. Just up the road you can get the best fish and chips on the Island at Richard's or you can go deep sea fishing out of Covehead Harbour. There is a scenic walking trail around the Covehead Bay and this goes to the National Park and all along the shore of the park - great for biking, and roller blading as well! Pets are welcome with permission and we are a NON-SMOKING accommodation. Great dining is just minutes away - Stanhope Beach Resort,The Dunes Cafe in Brackley, and Dalvay by the Sea (awesome sticky date pudding). Mac's cottage is a 20 min. drive to Charlottetown and 25 min to Cavendish. Stay at Mac's and enjoy our down-home PEI hospitality! . More

Great spot!

Great location close to the beach and within easy driving range of shopping, tourist attractions, etc... Perfect place for our family of 5 or any other group for that matter!

great cottage, awesome location

The cottage really became our home for the week and couldn't have asked for a better location. a few minutes away from some great beaches and quite close to Charlottetown and Cavendish.

Lovely cottage

This was a great little cottage to stay at. It is exactly as described, the rooms are small (as it says) but the living area is bright and open. We loved staying here and didn't want to leave!
