The villa is open plan with spectacular ocean and mountain views. Sliding glass doors open up on three sides, blurring the distinction between indoors and outdoors. A large covered terrace with dining area and an inviting swimming pool complete the living space.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with island, perfect for self-catering.
The master bedroom with lovely views over Crochu Harbour, has a king-size bed and is ensuite with large shower. The second bedroom looks out towards the mountains and rain forest, has a queen-size bed and is also ensuite with large shower. Tatou House is ideally situated for exploring Grenada. Very special place
The house is tucked away in a beautiful location right near the ocean. It feels like your own little oasis. There's a walkable restaurant that sits right above the water which was wonderful. Walking distance to the ocean, easy swimming area. Nearby are wonderful waterfalls and other restaurants. We were lucky enough to meet a local who is opening Doreen's, named after his grandmother which sits on the beach. He made us the brown down, which is a local dish, and absolutely delicious! The locals share their stories, making this place very special. VIkki recommended fabulous Chef Bruno, who made us a 3-course local meal at the house, where we sat outside next to the pool under the stars and loved it all. It's a special place, and we will be back!

A little piece of heaven on earth
Tatou House in Crochu, Grenada is heaven on earth. The thoroughly beautiful villa is JUST as beautiful as the photos, secluded, with beautiful views of Cabier Cove. The architect was a genius in the placement of the windows, and sliding doors that take advantage of the views and short walk to a gorgeous, secluded sandy beach. Vikki and Tara coordinated our visit seamlessly from a COVID approved ride from the airport to the tiny village of Crochu on the other side of the island, to stocking the amazing kitchen and arranging for an authentic Grenadian arrival meal. We spent our 48hrs of quarantine happily lazing around the beautifully upkept pool, enjoying the ocean breeze and sipping shandy. After quarantine while we did venture to St. George and Gran Anse on the other side of the island, we spent most of our time lazing on the white sands of the beach, drinking fresh coconut water eating the sapodillas and mangoes that kept magically appearing thanks to Tara. The crowning event was the appearance of Mr Japal, the local taxi driver, on the beach with a bowl of the local speciality “oil down” made by his wife. The only bad thing was that we were not ready to go after just one week. We will most definitely be back.

Jewel at the end of the beaten path!
Tatou House was everything we needed to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. The seclusion of the location and the amenities leave you wanting nothing more but to figure out when you're going to visit again. Every detail was thought of including transportation, restaurant options, personal chef, and activity options. We are already planning a visit back to Grenada and we'll stay nowhere else but Tatou House! Thanks to Vikki, Linnette, Elaine, Japal, Ingrid, and the Cabier Lodge for such a wonderful time.

Lovely secluded island get-away
Tatou House really is as nice as it seems in the pictures. The home, the pool, the garden, and the view were quite lovely and perfect for a quiet, secluded vacation.
Vikki and Victor were very responsive to our inquires. They put us in touch with Linnette, the property manager, who took good are of us in Grenada. We especially appreciated being met at the airport and driven to the property, where our rental car was waiting for us. The recently installed air-conditioner in the bedroom was a bonus.

Perfect place to relax and rejuvenate
Full disclosure, Vikki and Victor are friends of mine. I spent two weeks visiting, in need of sun and swimming - which i did to my heart's content. At the house, you can stay all day in the breezes, dip in the pool and watch the pelicans play. Or take a morning constitutional swim down at the beach just 2 minutes away. There are too many gorgeous beaches to count, and if you're tired of that, just go on one of the local hikes into the interior (called a "hash") or visit some of the plantation ruins around the island. Grenville is the local town, and you can get whatever you want. The kitchen is ready for cooking, but you can also just pop down to the nearby restaurant if you're feeling lazy. You'll want a car, but you don't have to have one. I could easily plant at Vikki and Victor's, have someone deliver food, and never leave. I've traveled around the world, and if you're up for something new, friendly people, a stunning location, and a feeling of welcome, this is the place.

Total Gem!
Tatou House is perfectly located on a bluff overlooking 2 bays- offering spectacular Ocean views and surrounded by pristine, untouched vegetation, and only a short walk to what seems at times as your own private beach. We even had the luxury of picking multiple varieties of local fruit, right off the many fruit trees surrounding the property.
The accommodations were beyond adequate, extremely comfortable, well maintained, and very suitable for both couples and families alike. Loved the design of the house - provided an easy transition from outdoors to inside and vice versa.
Finding and venturing out to local attractions and restaurants was made very easy given the excellent advice and help from the owner Vikki J- very thankful to her for going the extra mile to have everything from car rental to immigration information, and arrangement for welcome meal to be prepared by the Joann (housekeeper). The only problem with our stay is that there wasn't enough time.
If you're looking for a little slice of paradise, this is it! Can't wait to go back.

Breathtakingly Beautiful
The views....The views... The views. Tatou house is perfectly situated on a hill between two coves which offer views of the ocean that will never grow old... you can simply get lost in time. The house itself not only meets but exceeds all your needs. Tatou House is extremely family friendly, the pool and the fully functional kitchen allows for that "home away from home" experience. It's location provides all the privacy you can want for a peaceful and tranquil vacation. Relaxing on the lawn as the sun is setting is truly breathtaking. I hadn't even left and was already planning my return with more family members.

Secluded, stylish house with private pool
We have had an amazing holiday in your fantastic home.
We were looking for somewhere to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and don’t think we could have chosen anywhere more perfect.
The peace, tranquility and seclusion were just what we were looking for, we felt totally refreshed and relaxed and were ready to go home at the end of our stay.
There isn’t anything we would change and loved the design and style of the house, We would love to come back some time.

Beautiful and Calming
We have traveled to many places and like to explore the area and meet the people. This house was the perfect place to do that and enjoy comfort in a beautiful setting. The owners provided information so that we could locate places to stop when travelling around this beautiful island. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed eating the fresh fish, squeezing fresh juice, making fruit smoothies and savoring the other fresh food. We easily found someone to cut coconuts and fill our bottle with coconut water. The views from the house are so beautiful and tranquil. While at the house, we spent most of our time on the comfortable outdoor furniture near the pool that is not pictured here. The gardens were also lovely and there is an outdoor shower. Otherwise, the photos represent the house.The beds are very comfortable and the area is very quiet. The staff are also very helpful. The beach is lovely and on the weekend you will see locals enjoying themselves. We found the people in Grenada friendly. Bruno's restaurant is close and also has great views and has a bar. We loved this house and hope to return.

About the neighbourhood
Crochu is located on the eastern Atlantic coast in the parish of St. Andrew, 18 miles or 40 minutes drive to the capital St. George's and about the same distance to Maurice Bishop Airport and Grand Anse beach in the south. The second town of Grenada lies to the north of Crochu, 7 miles or 20 minutes drive. Tatou House is located down a mostly unpaved road at the end of a small Peninsula. It is approximately a 30 minutes walk (7 minutes by car) to the main coast road and public transportation. Grenada offers a network of mini-buses for public transport; no public transport on Sundays. For people who don't mind left driving we recommend to rent a car.
Cabier Ocean Lodge, a small hotel with restaurant and bar, is stone's throw from Tatou House. The villages of Crochu and Café offer some amenities. There are a few local bars, a small lunch café, BBQ stand and a small super-mart. Crochu is a good jumping off point for exploring the northern parts of Grenada, Levera and Bathway beaches, Belmont Estate and the town of Sauteurs.
