L'Hirondelle is a spacious apartment for 2 people situated on the upper level of a beautiful stone village house in the heart of the charming medieval village of Vezenobres. The house occupies an elevated position in the village and an open south-facing aspect, offering unrivalled views of the surrounding area. It is a spacious and airy apartment with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Cevennes from its shuttered windows. There is a private sun terrace with breakfast table and chairs leading off the double bedroom and direct access to the *shared rear terrace and splash pool from the kitchen. The elegant and stylish living room has comfortable seating around a large fireplace, with an open plan dining area and a stairway leading to the double bedroom. The bedroom is furnished with 160cm (queen-size) bed has large sliding picture windows with views onto the private sun terrace where you can take a leisurely breakfast, or relax over pre-dinner aperitifs watching the sun slip behind the distant Cevennes. The well-equipped kitchen has all the amenities for preparing your tasty Mediterranean meals with local market produce, which can be enjoyed outdoors on the rear terrace with splash pool or on your private balcony. You will be met by our very friendly property manager, who will show you around the apartment and explain all you need to know (please ask if you have more questions!) and hand you the keys. Both the property manager and the owners are contactable by phone or email throughout your stay to answer any queries. In the apartment you will find a Guest Information Pack, instructions on how to work the appliances (such as the washing machine, TV, combi microwave oven etc) and lots of tourist information and restaurant suggestions. There is also an excellent Tourist Office in the centre of the village.

Vezenobres Vézénobres' stunning medieval architecture and pristine streets are why it is a listed 'Village de Caractère' and 'un des plus beaux villages du Gard'. It is celebrated as The National Village of the Fig for it's fig tree terraces and hosts 2 wonderful festivals each year. Vézénobres also plays host to the 'Square Boules World Championships' - an annual competitive (and fun!) event which takes place on the medieval streets in the centre of the village! Vezenobres is a beautiful medieval hillside village which has all the amenities including restaurants, boulangerie, tabac, supermarket, post office, pharmacy and beauty salon. How to get there
The local transport infrastructure ensures that access to the area is easy by any means of transport. Nimes is located at the foot of the main autoroute to the South of France, and Vezenobres is a 20 minute drive north along the route national to Ales. There a daily TGV rail service to Nimes which takes less than 3 1/2 hours from Paris, the Eurostar operates a service to nearby Avignon, and there is good access to a number of airports such as Nimes, Montpellier and Marseille, which have daily flights from most areas of the UK and Europe.
