The Old Schoolmaster’s Cottage is nestled cosily in the picturesque Barrington River Valley. Built in the late 1800s our Cottage is one of the oldest original residences in the Barrington Valley. The Cottage’s history has been enhanced by recent renovations, which highlight its old-world charm. The Cottage enjoys a breathtaking position right on the banks of the Barrington River with an outlook over working river flats which change colour with the seasons. Sit on the verandah, listen to sounds of the river and overlook the magnificent Bucketts Mountain Range, all of which add to the unique atmosphere of the Cottage. Swim or go tubing down the Barrington River which is less than 100 metres away, or sit comfortably near the slow combustion fire in the winter months.
