Le Cabanon has been beautifully restored and provides ideal self contained accommodation for 2 people. The spacious studio is equipped with dining table & chairs, lounge area with easy chairs, a sleeping area with a double bed and separate shower/toilet, there is a well equipped kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave and washing machine. Outside is a south-facing private terrace, with pergola, built-in barbecue, sun loungers, table and chairs, all overlooking the garden and 8m x 4m pool (only shared with the owners). It is the only rental situated within the grounds of the owners' property, on the outskirts of Grans, a typical Provencal village providing all necessary amenities including restaurants, bars, bakeries, butcher, vegetable shop and small supermarket. Spent a wonderful few days here. Beautiful surroundings , a typical Provencal village closeby with great eating places. The Cabanon itself is a lovely studio/apartment, extremely well equipped with a swimming pool on the doorstep. Everything we needed for a relaxing holiday as the weather...More

About the neighbourhood
Grans is a typical Provencal village with bakers, vegetable shop, butcher, small supermarket, bars and restaurants. It is ideally placed to visit the many tourist attractions such as Arles and its arena, Avignon with the Popes' Palace and famous bridge, and the old, university town of Aix-en-Provence with its restaurants and cafes. Marseille is around 30km from the Le Cabanon and has been subject to great improvements recently. Its many attractions include the Cathedrals of Notre Dame de la Garde and La Major, the Old Port, the Chateau d'If and the Corniche. A little further afield are the beautiful villages of the Luberon and the national park of the Carmargue. Nearby (5 min drive) is the newly opened McArthurGlen factory outlet village.
Getting around
A car is necessary to take advantage of the many tourist attractions in the area. The nearest town is Salon-de-Provence (6km) where there are more facilities and amenities plus trains and buses to the nearby cities and airports.
