About the neighbourhood
Godahena is a quiet village, about 15 minutes by tuk tuk from Ambalangoda and some quiet and beautiful beaches. Ambalangoda is a lively town with many things to see, including the famous mask factory and museum and an historic bell tower. Not far away can be found the longest reclining Buddha statue in South Asia, a moonstone mine and turtle and fish farms. The villa is near the South Western coast and Indian Ocean and in probably one of the most beautiful regions of Sri Lanka.
Getting around
Our manager will be on hand to advise on and arrange your transportation and excursions. The villa has its own boat for trips on the lake and to nearby Ambalangoda.
