We stayed here for four nights in mid-June. The house was quite nice. The location is nice - roughly midway between Mariposa and Oakhurst. Thus, several good choices for dinner are within 30 minutes. And, the house has a nice working propane grill and full...More

About the neighbourhood
It is located about forty five minutes from Yosemite National Park's south entrance, and about an hour from Yosemite National Park's Arch Rock entrance. Both routes take about one and a half hours to get you to the heart of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and other Yosemite Valley attractions. The usually all year East Fork of the Chowchilla River runs across the bottom of our property, where you can fish (California fishing laws apply), pan for gold (it's yours), dip your toes to cool off, or just enjoy the soothing river sounds and spectacular view from the private spa or two story decks.
