About the neighbourhood
Holywell as the name suggests is famous for its holy well which is strewn with discarded crutches from people who claim to have been cured from its holy water. Visitors can walk around the church or the brave adventurers can take a dip into the pool. Within the town are small retailers with most of your daily requirements, as well as three large supermarket chains. The is also a leisure centre with swimming pool and plenty of other sports on offer. Flint train station is just 10 mins away with great links to the main cities and has free parking.
Getting around
Whilst a car is recommended, as Holywell is a market town it does have regular buses to all the major towns in the area, whereas nearby Flint has trains across all the coastal areas, Chester and Liverpool. If you want to leave your car at home we can arrange for you to be collected from Flint train station. Cyclists can have access to secure storage for bikes, and if you love to walk then there are plenty of public footpaths starting literally outside the door!
