Sólo dos ojos
Granny’s Garden is a beautiful home which I would be incredibly proud to own. It’s full of character and Abuela Pilar’s personality. Each bedroom has it’s own name and at every turn there are beautiful verses on walls, doors and every conceivable surface. My grandchildren had lot’s of fun (as did I) translating and practicing our Spanish. Judging by the extensive library, Abuela Pilar is a very well read lady - there are books for all ages throughout the villa...even a beautifully handwritten recipe book in the well equipped kitchen. We spent New Year in a panoramic room above the main roof of the villa with unrestricted views over Granada. Fireworks lit up the sky as we sipped champagne and ate 12 grapes for good luck (tradition) at midnight. If the villa is enchanting, Granny’s Garden is magical, beautifully sculpted with every tree and shrub identified with handwritten names on plaques. A orange tree dripping with fruit greets you at the entrance to the villa. El jardín de la Abuela was chosen for it’s proximity to the ski slopes of Sierra Nevada, exactly 31 minutes away, the wonderful city of Granada on the doorstep and the Costa Tropical just 45 minutes until the beaches and restaurants of Salobreña are reached. As one of the many verses describes, ‘Sólo dos ojos’ - you only have two eyes and yet can see so much - how is this possible? Difficult question to answer but I’m grateful to have discovered El Jardín de la Abuela - it has it all.

magnifica casa cerca de Granada
Somos una familia de 8 miembros de Almeria. Estuvimos tres dias de octubre.La casa es totalmente recomendable pues tiene 6 habitaciones , tres baños , dos salones , varios ambientes alrededor de la casa para comer , descansar y contemplar el estupendo y cuidado jardin. Tambien varias habitaciones dan a una terraza con mesas y sillas. La piscina es fantastica ,de agua salada. Como detalles de la casa; limpieza estupenda..habitaciones amplias ..menaje de cocina muy completo. La casa esta ubicada en una zona residencial por lo tanto muy tranquila y a 20 minutos de Granada Como curiosidad ..viene un panadero a la puerta de la casa vendiendo pan y dulces de la zona. Por ultimo los dueños son reflejo de la casa : hospitalidad y amabilidad. recomendable al 100% ....para repetir !!!!!

Viaje con niños y amigos
Ha sido una estancia increíble....un 10 en limpieza, en espacio y detalles....una casa enorme con espacio suficiente para 10 adultos y 5 niños....los dueños encantadores...recomendable 100%. Sin duda volveremos!!!!
