I welcome guests and orient the to my home? In general I allow guests to feel at home in their space and to have a sense of privacy. I like to suggest places to visit around the city as well as food restaurants but in general am around as much or as little as necessary.
The Marta train or uber can get you around to the places you want to go within the city. If you're interested in going to places 'outside the perimeter' then it's best to rent a car.
