About the neighbourhood
This is such a beautiful part of Andalucía and, while it's only one hour from the coast, it is really a different world up here in the mountains. The pace of live is slow, people are very friendly and always have time to say hello and the scenery is stunning. There are lots of walks or cycle paths to explore, we are only thirty minutes from Ronda, there are amazing caves to visit, lots of great restaurants to enjoy and, most of the time, the sun is shining!
Having a car is ideal but there is a local train that can bring you as far as Granada if you want. There is a very limited bus service but there is a train station in the village.
How to get there
Airport: Gibraltar: 80.0 km
Railway: Estación de Cortes de la Frontera: 0.5 km
Ferry: Tarifa: 100.0 km
You can fly to Gibraltra, Málaga, Jerez or Sevilla and then it's a drive of between one and two hours. We really advise hiring a car because there are some great places to visit that you just can't get too on public transport. Having said that, you can always come by bus and train too and we are happy to pick you up at the local train station. We also offer a pick-up service from any of the above airports (price varies depending on which airport).
Horse Riding Nearby, There Are Tennis Courts Nearby, Nearest Beach: 50.0 km.
