Delightful Converted Barn in a wonderful countryside location, but central to some of the most visited historic sites in South West France. The irish owner offers comfortable, spacious and welcoming accomodation and the bed and breakfast is open all year round. Come and stay and have a break from all the hustle and bustle, relaxing on the veranda, just watching the buzzards rising on the warm currents, or listening to the crickets in the evening, with a glass of wine, of course....Delightful Converted Barn in a wonderful countryside location, but central to some of the most visited historic sites in South West France. About the neighbourhood
We are located slap bang in the middle of an incredible area, with so many historic famous towns and villages surrounding us, many of them listed in the Plus Beaux Villages de France book. We are not far from Figeac, Gramat, Rocamadour, St Circ Lapopie, Autoire and its waterfall, Cardaillac, Carrenac, St Cere, and many more that I am still discovering too, even after 5 years here. There is also a wonderful range of activities to do on the rivers and cliffs, as well as some wonderful restaurants to try out. The local cuisine centers around duck, goats cheese and Cahors wine, a very potent mix, completely delicious. Between Figeac and Gramat, take the road signposted Le Bouyssou/St Bressou. Follow the signposts and before the village Le Bouyssou, take the road to the left signpost...
