Multi level modern beach house offering views of the snorkel, surfing areas, sun sets at Kahaluu beach. Four miles south of Kona town. Perfect for 1 couple wanting to cook home meals and sight see. Quiet area, but located in a prime beach location. Wrap around decks on all 3 levels. The roof is a flat sun deck you can walk on. You may park next to front door. The front door entrance is on the 2nd level, (kitchen level). There is outside covered dining on deck. Built in desk nook, TV and sofa on this level. Upstairs is the 3rd level offering a master suite with queen bed, lg screen TV, sofa and bathroom, wrap around decks.
The bottom floor or 1st floor has a washer/dryer.

I needed a small place in Kona for six days before Ironman began. This was a perfect house for me: two decks facing Kahaluu Bay, located off of Alii Drive, and available at a reasonable rate. The house was clean, well-stocked with kitchen implements, and was decorated in an old Hawaiiana style. The wifi worked, the laundry was good, and it was quiet. There was no air conditioning, but that was no problem because you get good ocean breezes at night and there were plenty of fans. I have been traveling to Kona for thirty-five years and have "seen it all". I would definately stay here again and recommend it to another single or couple. Note: it is located on a single lane road which is easy to miss from Alii Drive unless you know your way around. Also, parking is pretty tight and you should arrive during the daytime so you can see what you are doing.
