Our Kona Bali Kai direct ocean front condo (Unit 219) sits 30' behind the seawall. You can't get any closer to the sea without getting wet.

If you want DIRECT Ocean Front, next to the most popular Island surf break in a TOTALLY remodeled unit at a great price point look no further. The view is indeed world class - it just does not get any better!

The 2BR/BA unit completed an $80,000 wall to wall full remodel in early 2014. The new 5 star interior is unbeatable with custom Cherry cabinetry, solid granite counters, new windows, new patterned tiled floors, new stainless steel appliances, quality Pella sliders and new, comfortable beds.

This condo is superb and the location is fabulous! The condo upgrades are beautifully done and the ocean is steps away. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing every night! The pool/hot tub were just refurbished and was extremely enjoyable. Lynn and Sharon (the owners) were great hosts. They give an abundance of useful and helpful information...

This was our second stay in this condo and we really enjoyed it. The condo is well equiped and has a great view on the ocean. Just in front, there are some tide pools where we saw sea turtles every day. Great location. It is not too far from White Sand beach and from a marvelous spot to snorkel. Da...

Thanks for the positive review. By living most of the year near bye and playing close attention to detail we provide a terrific value for our clients. Ocean Front units take a tremendous beating from the salt air and require frequent maintenance to keep them in "yeoman" shape.

Beautiful ocean view location. Wonderful tidal pool right in front. Always turtles to see. Recent excellent renovation. Wifi and cable included. This our second stay and we will return.

About the neighbourhood
The 6 miles of Alii drive between the village of Kailua Kona and south to Keauhou is right out of a south seas novel. Condos, private homes and vacant land are interspersed in green surroundings highlighted in palm trees.
Joggers and bicyclists enjoying the widened street are popular. There is a large array of restaurants in both villages and many galleries in Kailua Kona. Cruise ships (tender required) call at Kona a couple of times per week.

How to get there
Airport: KOA: 18.0 km
We are 3 miles south of the village of Kailua Kona on Alii drive. A car is recommended due to the many sights to take in during your trip; however taxi's from the airport (11 miles) are available and a local trolly will take you into town and back for $2/pp each way with scheduled stops into late evening. The trolley is popular for guests who want to have a few drinks/dinner in town and not drive.
