We are located at the end of a 10km 4x4 road bordering La Amistad NP.. Remote wilderness location offering superlative cloud forest habitat. Visitors to our cabins will have 1.5 million acres of pristine cloud forest wilderness at their doorstep. La Amistad NP is Central America's largest protected mountain wilderness and on the property there are keystone species present such as Resplendent Quetzals, Three Wattled Bellbirds, Baird's Tapir, Mantled Howler Monkey, Black and Crested Guan, White-Faced Capuchin monkeys, mountain lions, ocelots and even Jaguars have been spotted in neighboring national park. Jeffrey and his wife Alma are as warm and accommodating as they come. They made you feel like you were old friends. My wife, two grown children and I stayed in the Bambito Suite in the Bellbird Lodge. The view was amazing. The hummingbirds were amazing. The food was great. The bathroom shower was a bit funky (diagonal shower rod), but overall, a great experience. Primary activity is hiking and relaxing.
