My husband plus 3 children and My parents all stayed at Villa taksu in October. It was mine and my husband's first time overseas. When we arrived the accomodation was immaculate, the greetings from Dion and Komang were so warm. We walked down to the main street of legian for dinner which for first timers was a little confronting but after going the same way the next day we felt much more comfortable. I can not speak highly enough of Dion and Komang, breakfast served each morning ( bali sausage was amazing ) and Dion spent so much time trying to win over my autistic 3 year old daughter who in the end loved there interactions. If I had my way I would take Dion home with me. Our Villa was cleaned daily and we loved the chats with both Dion and Komang learning about their own families. Dion cooked us an amazing nasi goreng which we all shared together, we loved having dinner with him and feeling like a part of the family. Josef organised for pool fencing to be installed which made our holiday so relaxing knowing our 3 year old was safe. The semi outdoor bathrooms were so tranquil and the air conditioned bedrooms allowed for a great night's sleep. So much space and room to move. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. We met so many wonderful people in bali.

Absolutely stunning just outside the main strip of Legian
Myself, my husband and our 7 children stayed in this villa 11 to 18 Jan 2020. The pictures are absolutely correct - it is stunning! Relaxing, beautiful and only a short walk to Legian st. Plenty of warungs around too. Komang and Dion looked after us so well - the villa always besutfuy cleaned, Komangs lovely breakfasts (the pancakes are awesome!) And having our beds made perfectly every day. I truly appreciate having the use of well fitted pool fencing with a 3 year old too. The owner Joe was happy to help in any way as well. If you've looked and unsure - know what I would recommend the villa to everyone. Thanks again for the amazing stay!

Had the best 10 days at Villa Taksu. The villa is beautiful, spacious and well appointed. The pool area is stunning with a very spacious Bali day bed area and lovely gardens.
The staff Komang and Dion are wonderful. Great breakfast every morning and they keep the villa in immaculate condition.
They are so friendly and accommodating happy to help with organising anything from calling taxis to home delivered meals. Even went in search of a product we couldn't locate ourselves.
The bonus for us was Goldie the Villa dog who is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and so well mannered.
Would not hesitate to reccomend Villa Taksu to anyone wanting a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle but walking distance to the centre of Legian.

A Beautiful Retreat
We booked Villa Taksu to celebrate our friend's birthday. Communication with the villa's owner, Josef, was prompt, reassuring and friendly. On our arrival, the birthday girl was greeted with festive birthday decorations, a cake and flowers. Not to mention a gorgeous welcoming rendition of 'Happy Birthday!'. The villa is spacious and the pool is large. Quality linen, clean rooms and lovely pockets of greenery everywhere. We felt very much at home, from being able to make pod coffees, to mixing our drinks and storing our food in the fridge. Next to the villa is a laneway that leads into the busy centre of Legian and we enjoyed walking down this beautifully kept pathway every day. As mentioned in many other reviews, Komang and Dion (the villa's caretakers) are wonderful. They were cheerful, trustworthy, attentive (without being intrusive) and kept the villa very neat and tidy. We were at the villa during the recent earthquake and Komang made sure that everyone was okay and safe. His genuine concern for our well being was appreciated by us all. And...I cannot finish this review without mentioning Goldie. What a gentle, clever, delightful dog. It could have been the Schmackos I bought but she was so loving and attentive. So, a huge THANKYOU to Komang, Dion and Goldie. It was a very memorable holiday.

Perfect
Villa Taksu was wonderful.
My lovely friend booked the accommodation for the four of us and she chose very well. It's a close walk to the busy tourist Legian area but far enough away to have a break if you want to take some time out.
The rooms are beautiful. All have en suites and air conditioning and are maintained/cleaned twice a day. The huge open communal area is perfect and I don't think that the photos do it justice. It's lovely to just sit with friends and have a drink and enjoy the pool and gardens.
Most important of all.... Komang, Dion and Goldie. I believe that your travelling experience is based on the people/animals that you meet. I could not fault Komang or Dion if I tried. Nothing was too much to for them and they were awesome. With regard to Goldie the dog, I'm looking at ways that I can steal him (my only negative with the stay was having to leave Goldie).

Simply Amazing!
We spent 7 perfect days at Villa Taksu with 9 family members. I couldn’t speak more highly of the staff Komang & Dion and their exceptional hospitality. We felt well cared for in such a beautiful surrounding. The villa layout works well. It is spacious and clean. It is located on a quieter street so not too noisy. The pool is big and deep, we spent lots of time swimming. Ordering massages in was a lovely treat. You can also order food in if you don’t feel like braving the busy streets. This is my 3rd time to Bali and on my next visit I would strongly consider renting Villa Taksu again. Being together with my family at Villa Taksu was a very memorable and special experience for us all.

100% stay here
We had a great stay at Villa Taksu. Josef was awesome to deal with nothing was too hard and he looked after us with our late flight in and late flight out. Komang and Dion were wonderful hosts. But the highlight of our stay was Goldie the villa pet! Would recommend this place to stay

Best Place, Best Location, Best Staff, Best Experience!
The location of the place is fantastic! Right next to Legian/ Kuta however also the right distance away to still get your own privacy. The place is absolutely massive and beautiful, the place is looked after extraordinarily well with your own pool for chilling and relaxing. Myself, im not one to spend a lot of time at my accomodation but this place was so good it was hard not to. The amazing Villa is backed up with two amazing hard workers being both Komang and Dion. They worked diligently the whole time with us cooking us breakfast, cleaning and even organising activities/ buying us dinner and drinks!! As a a very awesome surprise also comes with a villa dog and the dog is truly beautiful and extremely well behaved. Cops the highest review possible from all nine of us will definitely stay again.

Villa Taksu is registered with the Indonesian Government for rental purposes. We have been travelling to Bali for many years and we employ local Balinese and Indonesian staff who we consider part of our extended family
As for the shopping its not far away, A 5 minute walk to jalan legian at the padma intersection and Taxi are very cheap to go anywhere in Bali. Kuta is a 10 min taxi ride depending on traffic and Seminyak is 5 mins . The staff can arrange and call taxis for you anytime
Legian beach is within easy walking distance as well as,there are many restaurants and shopping nearby .there is a local market at the end of the road every morning,and the area is patrolled nightly by the local Banjar ,as we are situated in no through road we have very little traffic,
