History of Casa Riviera
In the 1920's, there were few houses on Crown Point; mostly farms. The 'water' in Mission Bay consisted of marshlands. By 1926, plots were being sold for homesites, the Mission Bay Yacht Club and dock were built at the edge of Edge Cliff Drive, and the bay was dredged for sailing and to reduce flooding.
