The house and yard were very comfortable for us during our visit to Ocean City and Assateague. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our pup. Really appreciated the powerful air conditioning as it was a VERY hot week. Host was always available to answer any questions and offer suggestions for restaurants, etc.

My husband and I went for a long weekend. The backyard is great for relaxing and for pups. Very quaint house. Had everything we needed. Host was great and gave us lots of local recommendations. High recommend!

First, location. Just minutes by car from downtown...
First, location. Just minutes by car from downtown Berlin, MD, it was so quick and easy to visit, park and take in the shopping, dining, homemade ice cream, coffee, and even a record store. It was also a fairly quick trip to the beaches of Assateague National Seashore (and MD state park equivalent). All the beauty of the Outer Banks w/out the long drive from where we live near D.C. Also close to a brewery and a winery, again, 10 minutes by car.
OK, that's location. Now for the house itself - comfortable beds, air conditioning (which was needed), and a great kitchen to cook many meals in. There is a terrific space out back with grills, bar, TV, fridge, and plenty of comfortable seating. Fenced in so dog friendly. We sat here many mornings before it got hot, drinking coffee and reading. Evenings were nice, too, as decorative lights come on. Further back is a separate fenced in section if your dog needs more space to run.
Host - Laurie has all the local intel on where to eat, shop, and where is best to go on the beach. Her recommendations did not let us down. She is super helpful and we enjoyed meeting her.

Wonderful stay! Laurie (the owner) is a gem! She was so friendly, helpful & generous! The home is spacious, clean & comfortable and the fenced in outdoor living space is amazing! Our chocolate lab loved playing frisbee in the larger fenced in yard out back!
We will definitely be back!
Highly recommend for those traveling with pets!
*the town of Berlin is also pet friendly which was a plus for a day shopping and eating out!

Anyone who is looking for relaxing time with friends, family, kids and PETS this vacation destination is for you.
Beautiful two story historic House, fully furnished, TV in every room. Everything is super clean. Great outdoor space for you and your furry family members. Just few minutes away from Assateague Island, Ocean City and Berlin. And of course, the wonderful Laurie!

Laurie was great. When we arrived she showed us around her prooerty and where all the appliances were.
Her home was decorated with lots of antigues.
There was an outside area very nice with bar, television, comfortable chairs, grill etc.
We enjoyed the stay at her house.
