Welcome to our Paradise Home!
Our unique 4th floor tropical home is the BIGGEST 2 bedroom/ 2 Full bath condo available at the Maui Vista Resort. It has been enlarged and partially enclosed. Located in building 3- away from the noise of So. Kihei Rd.
Our condo DOES NOT DIRECTLY FACE THE HOT tropical afternoon sun, leaving our condo cooler than most full Oceanview condos! From our living room lanai we have a "Peak-a-boo" horizon ocean view~spectacular sunsets~ the West Maui Mountains, with the island of Lanai and Ma’alea Bay off in the distance. We are surrounded by the flowering plumeria trees, whispering palm fronds (directly outside of our lanai window) and the flowering green gardens & lawns of the Maui Vista Resort, while providing exceptional privacy. Maui Vista Resort is an Absolutely NO smoking (anything) Resort- allowed ONLY in the areas designated as a 'smoking area'. Guests will comply with all Maui Vista Resort rules (available upon request) and at front office..
Rental guest MUST be 25 or older or must have a chaperone 25 or older staying with them in our condo or unless otherwise agreed upon.
Advise us as soon as you notice anything in need of repair or if you break anything in the condo.

Well-Appointed Condo - Hope to be Back Next Year!
Well-designed unit provides extra privacy and sleeping space. Really appreciated the two king beds. Close to what we consider to be the best beaches on Maui.

Great condo, great location.
Great condo across from the beach. Has everything you need, even multiple baby items. The grounds of the complex are beautiful. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. 4 adults, one toddler, one infant were very comfortable in this unit.

Comfy, convenient, and charming condo with a short walk to the beach!
We had such a lovely stay. The condo was perfect for our family. Right across from Charlie Young Beach, which is perfect for small kids, and a short walk in either direction for basic groceries (Foodland) or organic produce (Hawaiian Moons). We LOVE Kihei for its walkability, friendly and convenient shops, and enjoyable and family friendly beaches. We will always stay in Kihei when we visit Maui!
We saw turtles several times down at Charlie Young Beach, and when we snorkelled at Ulua Beach my husband spotted an octopus!
The Lovebirds out the lanai were a major bonus for us, and provided endless entertainment as they played in the tree and on the roof. The condo had everything we could need, including sand toys, a float jacket for my toddler, and a wide range of kitchen things (hurray for waffle irons!).
My husband took lessons from Maui Boys Surfing and they were great. For shopping I recommend the short drive to Paia for really unique souvenirs. And on a rainy day with kids the Maui aquarium is worth a visit. Oh! And don’t forget to visit Maui brewing’s new tasting room! So great!

Great Family Condo
Lots of space in this condo unit. It was very clean, was nicely decorated and was close to an awesome beach. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to the owners who made this rental a pleasant experience for our Canadian family.

Great location for family trip
There was lots of room for 3 adults and 2 kids to stay. Well equipped with beach gear. Very close to excellent beach. Common BBQ areas were exceptionally well kept. Friendly group.

Delightful location, well appointed condo
Location of this condo was excellent - within walking distance to the beach, and yet quiet- away from traffic. It was also possible to walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. The availability of grilling facilities and a full, well-equipped kitchen made our stay all that more enjoyable. In addition, beach equipment and towels were available for our use. We were comfortable for down-time relaxation and had plenty of sleeping accomodations. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely consider this condo for any future trips to Maui.

Great Location
This is our 3rd trip to Maui Vista and this was by far the best condo we've stayed in. Plenty of room and lots of upgrades. Very clean with updated amenities. We didn't feel like we were surrounded by garage sales items. The condo is located in the furthest building from the beach but is well worth the extra steps. Very quiet location tucked away in the corner.
Lori and Alan are excellent hosts and were very accommodating to our needs. Thumbs up from this family.

We stayed in this condo for a week from December 27- January 4. From the time of booking until our departure, we were very impressed. Laurie responded to our inquiry promptly and gave us lots of detailed information before we arrived which was helpful. Directions were provided by Maui 5 star who were also helpful and informative, and we found the place very easily in the dark. Keys were left in a lock box and check in was very easy. The location of the condo is perfect......close to several great beaches and shops, very quiet and it never gets the hot sun blasting in. The unit is very close to the elevator which was nice when bringing up luggage, groceries, etc. We did not ever need the air conditioning on as the breeze at night keeps things cool. The unit is well stocked and very clean. It was nice to have the basics like salt and pepper, sugar, soya sauce, plastic wrap, etc. The pantry has a big supply of items and they just ask that the person who uses the last of anything replaces it. We brought our own snorkeling gear but they had a few sets there as well as other beach supplies and towels. We appreciated the games that have been left for renters to use......our kids had a few good monopoly matches!! The beaches are so great that we never used the pool area, but it looked nice and always had chairs available. The barbeque areas were also spotless. After 10pm is quiet time, which was great for a family like us, but maybe not so great if you are into a party atmosphere. We would highly recommend and will stay again if we ever have the opportunity. Thank you!

Comfortable, convenient and well stocked McCann's Maui Vista
McCann's Maui Vista is a home away from home! It has everything you need to prepare meals, go to the beach and relax in style. The unit is well decorated and comfortable. The beds and bedding were nice, the towels were fluffy and smelled clean. The kitchen had pots, pans, baking sheets, knives cutting boards juice jugs. You may think "big deal" but we have stayed in places where there have been a lack of these things and barring packing this stuff or buying it, it is nice to not have to worry!
The multiple pool access is nice. We have small children so if there were an abundance of non children people at the closest pool, we just moved on to the next one. There were also times, more often than not, where we were the only ones at the pool. This may be because the non children people went somewhere else!
Maui Vista is within a few minutes walk to the beach or shops and restaurants if one is so inclined.
I would return to McCann's unit and I have recommended it to friends. It was a great experience!

Mahalo! We sure do hope that you return to our Maui home away from home! Since we cater to many families with children, we try to keep the condo in tip top shape. We have the upholstery, quilts and rugs cleaned on a regular basis. It is our pleasure to keep the condo as well stocked as possible! We look forward to our guests returning year after year!

Home away from home
This is a wonderful condo that we have had the pleasure of staying at a couple of times. We feel like we are coming home when we stay here. It is very comfortable and the owners have stocked it with everything you could need. No other condo we have stayed in on Maui have been this beautiful!

About the neighbourhood
Maui Vista Resort is conveniently located in sunny South Maui across the street from Charley Young Beach (our personal favorite) and Kamaole Beach I, which is ideal for lap swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, beach-walking and watching heavenly sunsets! All three Kamaole Beaches have Lifeguards on duty. Maui Vista Resort is easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, several So. Kihei beaches and the Maui public bus/ shuttle.
Our condo- is located in building 3, away from street noise, a 5 minute walk to the beach through the tropical gardens, past the 3 gated swimming pools and championship tennis courts. One parking spot is provided close to the condo entrance. The Resort parking lot is security patrolled. Condo and Resort are non-smoking- designated smoking areas located away from buildings.
Getting around
We usually rent a car when in Maui in order to get around the island and see the sights. Sometimes we use the Car Rentals available at the airport and other times we rent locally in Kihei. The public bus connects with the airport, as well.
The Maui Bus public transit service consists of thirteen (13) bus routes, all operated by Roberts Hawaii. All of the routes are operated seven days a week, including all holidays. No transfers are given on any of the routes. All vehicles on the routes are ADA.

How to get there
Our condo is located in South Kihei about 20 minutes from the airport (OGG). Follow the signs from the airport to Kihei (do not go towards Lahaina- West Maui). Once on the Pailani Highway, turn right on to Alanui ke Alli, down the hill to the ocean, turn right on So. Kihei Rd.. We are located at 2191 So. Kihei Rd., building 3. Park in any spot and pick up a parking pass in building one office.
