Great in some ways, lacking in others
Pros:
Central location for getting to N & S areas of island
Short walk to beach (but no swimming/snorkeling at this beach!)
Adequately furnished
Kitchen well-equipped
Easy parking & hwy access
Clean linens and plenty of clean bath and beach towels
Cons:
No A/C! Windows open, fans on high - still very sweaty nights!
Since windows HAD to be open at night, roosters would wake us at 4 AM - despite fans, noise machines, and earplugs :-/
More beach gear would be great. We bought and left a boogie board, hopefully it is still there for future guests...
Fairly cramped for family of 5 - like many condos, fish-eye lenses make unit look much bigger
Not dirty, but lots of dust on light fixtures. Needed a deep clean!
Shower fan was nearly inoperable, didn't vent steam when showering
Overall: Mostly got what we expected, but the fitful nights made us long for our own beds. Wouldn't stay here again in summer due to lack of A/C. Pretty good for a family traveling on a budget, and we were out exploring the island the majority of the time anyhow.

Praktisches und gut ausgestattetes Quartier in Highwaynähe
Das Objekt liegt günstig, um Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel zu unternehmen. Es befinden sich auch gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einfache Restaurants in fußläufiger Nähe. Durch eine Baulücke dringt jedoch der Lärm des innerstädtischen Highways ungehindert in das Hauptschlafzimmer und auf den Balkon. Die Ausstattung der Küche und mit Strandutensilien ist gut. Der Strand ist nicht weit weg, wegen der Brandung aber nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet. Das Objekt war sauber, und das Management ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Lovely furnished apartment
The apartment had everything you needed.. Sufficient space. It was close to a grocery store and several dinning options. It was clean an cozy with the exception of the sheets on our queen bed. There were several little black hairs on them and dust as if they hadn't been washed in between visits. Also the towels smelled like they were brand new and not yet washed as well. The location is quiet and people are super friendly.. On the entire island for that matter. I'd come back, just wish that the sheets were washed before we came for our stay.

We are happy to hear that you had everything you needed. Had you called us during your stay, we would have been more than happy to take care of exchanging of the sheets for you. We are an on island management company just a few minutes away from you and we would have been more than happy to assist you during your stay had we known. The close proximity to shops, restaurants, walking/bike path and the ocean make this a super affordable vacation rental! Aloha and again, mahalo!

Nice....
We stayed here in August. The apartment was clean and simple. They had a TV in both rooms as well as the living room with cable, Netflix...and a few others available! Kitchen is equipped although we hardly used it. The owners had chairs, umbrella, and snorkel gear available for our use which we took advantage of.
The location is convenient. Walking distance to the beach (to rough to swim in though).
The negatives- no washer and dryer. It's on the second floor- no AC so it gets HOT!!!! Extremely uncomfortable even at night (at least while we were there). We avoided the apartment for this very reason (same reason we avoided the cooking).
It felt like an oven to say the least, but the property manager was nice enough to bring us fans.
I'd recommend only in cooler weather or if they installed a wall air unit.
