Beautiful Home and Warm Hospitality
My friends and I recently stayed at Family Ties - Hopkins House for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the vacation home. It is recently renovated throughout and has all the amenities you could need.
Helen and Brian, the hosts, are wonderful and very hospitable. The house is well stocked with all the basics and more besides such as tea, coffee, juices, firewood, hand sanitizer, gloves, etc. The best part was the homemade scones and muffins! They were delicious.
The bedrooms are beautiful, and the beds comfy. The house is well laid out with lots of seating. Plenty of space for a group of adults to stay.
The firepit in the backyard is a nice touch as well!
All the attractions in the area are within a 5-10 minute drive of the house. Walking trails and the ocean are within walking distance from the house.
They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and checked in each day via email to ensure we didn't need anything.
Will definitely stay again when visiting Twillingate in the future.

Great Location! Super Clean And super accommodating!!
This place was super clean and in a great location! The hosts went above and beyond our expectations!! We would totally recommend this place. A great find.

Perfect
We called while in Twillingate to book and our hosts met us at the house within minutes. Despite this being a very last minute booking, they welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of information about the house & area, hikes, restaurants and even booked us on a cruise. There were treats on arrival and good provisions for our stay.
The house was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Full kitchen and washing facilities. They have thought of everything. Home away from home!
