We selected the material for the house ourselves and did so very carefully as we wanted to maintain a relationship with the environment. The aim was to make the houses comfortable with a natural look and feel, in order to harmonise with the National Park. The house is surrounded by olive groves and pine woods; from time to time you may see squirrels, foxes, rabbits, mountain goats, wild boar, partridge, eagles, and other wild creatures.

La Reserva is beautifully equipped and has everything you need to feel completely at home. It is a pleasure for us to see our visitors come here from many other countries and enjoy the town of Frigiliana, our kind climate, and the area´s tranquillity.

This pretty villa is to be found within the National Park area of the Sierra Tejada mountains, whilst set in an elevated position and accessed by a steep concreted track, the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and coastline make the short journey worthwhile.

La Reserva has been built by the owners Javier and Rosario with attention to detail and a lovely, rustic style décor throughout. A covered terrace provides a shady retreat from the midday sun and offers a relaxing setting to enjoy outside dining whilst admiring the views.A charming Andalusian property, which whilst having full modern facilities retains all its original features.

About the neighbourhood
The property is 4 kms from the seaside town of Nerja in area call Rio Chillar / Almachares and 3 kms from the charming old village of Frigiliana.

The historic quarter of the town of Frigiliana, and with in it the Mudéjar Quarter, represents a monumental grouping that some authors have named the most popular architectural structure of Arab origin in existence in the province of Málaga. To this among others, is owed the prize received in 1982 of the I Premio Nacional de Embellecimiento de los Pueblos de España ( 1st National Prize for the Embellishment and improvement of the Spanish Towns).
